I have purchased a few different ready meals from Sam's Club, but I will not do so in the future. This dish has so much salt/sodium that it almost made me sick to my stomach. I am sure who came up with the recipes for SC, but they use far too much salt, which is unhealthy for everyone, and this dish was horrible!

Salt bomb!!! The pot roast looked very delicious and my family was really looking forward to having it for dinner but after a bite or two, none of us could eat anymore because it was so salty. Also, if you cook according to the instructions the potatoes come out underdone. Sad to say this was a waste of $30.

I didn't buy it because my sample was waaaay too salty and I thought it was too expensive. On the other hand, other than the salt issue (which involves health as well as taste), it wasn't bad tasting. I dunno -- if I were in a serious time crunch, I just might buy it if it weren't so salty. With a little bit of tweaking and getting rid of most of that salt, perhaps Sam's could make this a feasible regular offering.

This was so easy and delicious. You just warm it up in the oven for 45-55 minutes and serve. The meat is tender, juicy, and falls apart with a fork like a good pot roast should. Not a ton of vegetables, but this was enough to feed a family of 6 with enough leftovers for 2-3 people the next day. I would definitely buy this again.

I am terrible at cooking roast. Gave this warm-up roast a try. It was very tender and tasty. I would purchase it again. I would buy 2 next time. There's only one serving for a family of 4. I left off one star because the potatoes had a strange texture. The carrots were fine.
