[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try the Ultra Gentle Neutrogena Daily Facial Moisturizer for free, in exchange for my honest review. I was looking forward to it, as I like Neutrogena. I don't like applying lotion in the AM. Upon my first application, it stung. Soon after, my face felt very greasy. The next day, I woke up with a horrible break out. The second day, it again stung upon application again, and the greasiness and breakout became worse. By the third day, I was only applying it to my dry areas , such as my eyelids, and neck. By the end of the week, ti was not stinging as much - but my eyelids became dry and itchy. application. It did not help my complexion, but instead made everything worse. I was very disappointed in this product.

It worked great under makeup and didn't cause any breakouts or reactions. I didn't notice a huge difference (improvement )with my skin but it's a good basic moisturizer to add to your routine.

I could feel my skin relax after my first application. Very cooling, soothing . Easy to use/rub in and I do like how it is fragrance free. Another plus is it did not cause any issues with my sensitive skin. Will continue to use this occasionally, it will probably work a lot better in the winter months to keep my skin really moisturized.

I will say that it took a minutes to absorb into my skin but other than that I didn't have any issues with the product.
