Bought these because of the reduced sugar. I wound up throwing out the entire package less 1/8 cup that I had put in my oatmeal. They left an awful chemically after taste. Either resign yourself to a little more sugar or find something other than craisins .

This item is a good snack to have on the go or when you're making your own trail mix or granola bars as well as to be added to silence so it is a ingredient that is versatile has a chewiness to it and great flavor cranberries is one of my favorite snacks to add to my trail mix.

I bought these to snack on and didn't realize that the artificial sweetener sucralose was used. The package read "50% less sugar" and "no artificial flavors or preservatives" so I just expected them to be more tart. It should also state that it contains an artificial sweetener so people are completely aware of what they are getting. Sadly, I bought a large 20 oz. package which is headed straight for the trash. They have a really unpleasant taste and the "sweetener" overpowers the taste of the cranberries and leaves a bad taste in the mouth after eating them. This is the first time an Ocean Spray product has disappointed me & it was a doozy!

I was excited to buy craisins that have less sugar and even 50% less sugar. After I tasted the product, I sensed a funny note and read the ingredients to find it's sucralose. That's really so misleading to a consumer. I don't want fake sugar in my body! That's really not ok. If you are using less sugar then it behooves you to make the consumer aware that you are substituting sugar with something else. Aside from me noticing the off-taste, I don't want to ingest fake sugar ever. Why can't you just make Craisins with 50% less sugar? I would enjoy that and I would prefer the tartness than all the sugar and I certainly don't want you deceiving me by substituting fake sugar. I'm very disappointed.

I purchased the 50% less sugar cranberries with the assumption that less sugarfmeansc they'd be less sweet. They tasted funny, chemically. Who would think that they contained sucralose- especially when it's touted on the bag that there are no artificial flavors or preservatives. But you use a chlorinated artificial sweetener. That is so deceptive! And reading through these reviews, you've been doing it for years. The rest of my 20oz bag is going in the trash

The front of the bag says "no artificial flavors", the back of the bag lists "sucralose" as an ingredient. I am furious. I would not have purchased this product if I knew that it had sucralose in it. Unfortunately I trusted the text on the front of the bag. I was hoping they wouldn't be so sweet, but in fact the taste is even sweeter than regular Craisins, and not as delicious.

Swing and a miss! Is your marketing team even reading these comments? The overwhelming majority of consumers looking for 50% less sugar also want natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. And don't even think about Stevia, cuz that's just as bad. We realize your team of chemical engineers, marketers, and taste testers think it's necessary to account for the bitter taste and substitute a myriad of other ingredients when you remove something like sugar, fat, or salt, but some people actually like the bitter flavor, it works in their dishes, and some people are doing less sugar for health reasons, not just the marketing appeal. As we become more and more health-conscious, long lists of added artificial chemicals will continue to drive off customers, who seek healthy alternatives. Artificial chemicals like sucralose, in-fact ANY added ingredients beyond the cranberries themselves is counter productive to auto-immune diseases and many of the health conditions people seek more natural foods for. I ask you please consider a natural variant of this product with JUST Cranberries (like the unsweeted "Pure" Cranberry juice you make), no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no substitues, no chemicals, no cause for concern, JUST Cranberries. Until then, I like many of the customers above, will take my business elsewhere to the responsible companies, who are listening to health-conscious consumers like me.

Dear Ocean Spray, how dare you trick your consumers in thinking you had “no artificial” written on the front of your bag then proceed to have sucralose added to the ingredients?? How about clearly adding “Artificially Sweetened” on the front of your bag rather than “Less Sugar” which we all clearly thought when purchasing the bag?? Purchased these for the first time in a while to use in a cookie recipe, never expected to have been deceived by one of my favorite cranberry companies. After getting caught up with other reviews, you clearly continue not caring. Now I have a gigantic bag that I have to either throw away or inconveniently go back to the store and stand on an endless line to return!

I was expecting something a little less sweet and more tart rather than artificially sweetened fruit. They're not horrible but I really don't like the weird sweetness profile of artificial sweeteners, I find they also leave a strange chemical aftertaste. These cranberries taste sad :(

Was so excited for a natural product with half the sugar… bought a bunch. Was so disappointed when one of my kids said, “look Mom! These ingredients are no good!” To my shock I discovered that we had consumed sucralose :(. Ahhh! Please make some real ones with just 50%sugar for those of us who want to live healthy!
