I bought this by mistake for the original, the package being so similar, but immediately realized my error when I tasted it. Sucralose is an artificial sweetener. It is made by chlorinating sucrose - yes folks, adding chlorine. It is not "natural" despite you being allowed to use it, I assume, by the FDA. I knew one of the original Tate & Lyle researchers who told me he'd never eat it. Very misleading.

I try to eat healthy and I read the ingredients before I buy. Recently I noticed the reduced sugar craisens that I have been buying now have sucralose. I started using the reduced sugar craisens because I had high triglycerides. Yup, last time I will ever buy these. Less sugar should mean just using less sugar than regular craisens, not adding an artificial sweetener. Please start catering to healthy eating rather than to people who want to ingest artificial sweeteners. Disappointing.

The nutrition panel on the less-sugar Craisins claims that a quarter cup has a whooping 10 gm of fiber. If you look up generic dried cranberries, you find most fiber amounts are more like 2-4 gms. What gives? I also hadn't realized the "less sugar" meant added Sucralose. My bad for not studying the nutrition label. I won't be buying them again.

I thought these were just less sweet based on the "no artificial flavors" line on the front, but of course y'all are pulling a fast one and they have sucralose, which just is yucky to me. I wish you would just make some with less sugar. I ate them anyway bc I needed them for a recipe, but I won't buy them again.

My husband bought this to use in my Thanksgiving stuffing, thinking that " 50% less sugar, No artificial flavors of preservatives" would be a good thing. So did I, and unfortunately did not bother to read the ingredients on the back of the package. When 2 of us who are sensitive to Sucralose felt sick to our stomachs after eating the stuffing (which used exactly the same recipe I have always used, except for the mutant cranberries) I wondered if it could be the cranberries. After reading the package I discovered the problem. SUCRALOSE! If you add artificial sweeteners to your products, you should make it obvious on the front of the package. "No artificial flavors or preservatives". BUT ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER. This totally ruined my Thanksgiving dinner.

I was in a hurry at the store and needed dried cranberries to add to a baking project I had already started. I thought, less sugar that's good. As soon as I tasted the finished product, a bread that was a 13.5 hour project, I knew instantly that less sugar equaled alternative sugar used as a replacement in the ocean spray world. The flavor was completely ruined and i taste nothing but sucralose. Why can't companies just use less sugar? Or at least label it as using a sugar substitute?

Can “less sugar” just mean the reduction of the amount of sugar and not that we have deceptively added a chemically altered compound? This preys upon patients/people that are trying hard to lose weight, manage glucose levels, and live a healthy lifestyle. Sucralose is associated with insulin resistance and other concerning health risks. Ocean spray, from a physician's plea, please do better.

I'm a big fan of Craisins but not a big fan of all the extra sugar in regular Craisins, and definitely NOT a fan of artificial sweeteners in the 50 Percent Less Sugar. The aftertaste of Sucralose (and EVERY artificial sweetener) is a complete disaster. C'mon, THINK about WHO you are marketing to - many of us want LESS sweet and that's what attracted us to the 50 percent less sugar version in the first place. Just give us the Craisins with no artificial sweetener - if I want more sugar I'll add it myself. Right now I'm searching online for UNSWEETENED dried cranberries and it looks like they are available, so that's where my dollars will be going next...

Though these have less conventional sugar, they are then over sweetened with Sucralose (which frankly I am avoiding, along with all the other artificial sweeteners). I, for one, long for the natural sharp tartness that cranberries have, but is being masked by the addition of too much sugar or sugar/sweetener combined. Please please please provide truly unsweetened cranberries for those of us who are working so hard to reduce our intake of sugar, and do not sweeten them for us with artificial sweeteners - we can choose the sweetener of our choice if we feel the need to add sweetness.

When people buy something because it says "50% less sugar" it's because we're trying to cut down on or avoid sugar altogether. We do NOT want other sweeteners being added to the product. We expect the 50% less sugar craisins to be more tart. Frankly, I wish Ocean Spray would not only offer a true "50% less sugar" product (without any other added sweeteners), but I'd love a completely unsweetened version of craisins (no sugar or sweeteners of any kind). I'll bet I'm not the only customer that feels this way.
