LG UltraGear monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrific product. I always aim to buy LG as they produce the best monitors

Great for productivity!

Going from a 34” 4k oled to this! Loving the extra room. Using mainly for productivity and it is perfect, text so much better than my older oleds.

Best PC Monitor for Gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A terrific addition to my PC rig. I fly msfs 2024 an awful lot. A bit on the high side fir coat but what a massive enhancement to this flight sim. Had a 27" flat monitor previously. It takes a bit of setting up/configuring, but once done, absolutely well worth a bit of time doing so. Marvelous visuals and ths 39" 1500R curve is spot on for my flight sim. Colour, the blacks are exceptional. And it's a 5K/2K resolution. As you can guess, highly recommended for gamers. Word if caution, you'll require a piweful GPU to run it at 5K/2K Resolution. I have the GEFORCE RTX 5080.

Okay till it broke

Had some screen tearing before complete failure after one month of daily use; LG support says I have to wait a month till they can even see if the parts come off back order and if they can repair it. Even with the LG "premium" care Also, the AI scene optimization feature typically would flicker between slightly brighter and darker images on a 4090 and 5090 Video card while using it for non-gaming use. I found it best to turn that feature off. Besides that, the perfect size/ratio OLED looked great

Love it! Wish it came in 45.

Bought this monitor after I had the 800R monitor and this one BLOWS the 800R one out of the water. The colors are so brought a deep. I work on this monitor and also play games and the 800R is just too curved. I also have 2 other gaming monitors on the left and right of this beautiful gem. The only issue I was having was on video you have to turn the AI off as it tried to turn the screen warm or cool and its very distracting. Other than that.... its beautiful, fast refresh, deep blacks, and everything is so easy to read. Someone complains about the text being legable. but if you sit so close to the monitor that you can see the pixels..... you're too close. I never leave reviews, but I felt i needed to on this one.

An Incredibly Immersive Gaming Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really impressed with the LG 39GX950B-B. The performance is excellent, especially when gaming. Playing Forza Horizon 6 feels incredibly smooth thanks to the high refresh rate, and the resolution is stunning, making the experience feel really immersive. Connectivity is another strong point. It offers plenty of connection options, and the Dual Mode feature is particularly useful as it lets me easily connect and use my laptop alongside my main setup. The setup process was very straightforward and didn't take long at all. The only thing worth noting is that the power supply comes with a fairly large power adapter, so you'll want to make sure you have somewhere to hide or manage it neatly. Overall, it's a fantastic durable monitor with outstanding gaming performance, excellent image quality, versatile connectivity, and an easy setup process. I cannot see any limitations and I would highly recommend it.

It's okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's an okay monitor, it's nice however compared to other oled monitors I own with the exact same specs, the lg one does not look as crisp, vibrant, or bright, it's quite a noticeable difference I assume it's because of the matte finish on the screen. The other features are great, the aggressive curve makes it very immrisive and does give a paralax effect and everything else functions as described the display on this one just wasn't much of difference compared to non oleds and the other brands with same specs just look nicer. Especially when alot of other prices are around the same is the lg's "sale price"

I'm obsessed with this monitor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the EVO GX9 5K2K OLED Gaming Monitor for about a week now and I've honestly been loving it. The picture quality looks amazing, games feel super immersive, and the ultra wide screen has been great for both gaming and everyday use. Almost Perfect

The monitor is amazing, but two huge issues I have with it is you pay a super high price, and it doesn't even feature a 240 Hz Refresh rate.(The reason for this is due to people maybe not having GPU's that support DisplayPort 2.1, so they went with 165 Hz as it's easier to drive, but if you're buying this you most likely do.) The other thing is that the AI Upscaling only works with 60 Hz it would be an epic monitor if you could go into dual mode while it's at 330 Hz and use the AI upscaling for the image to get that crisp 5k2k resolution.(Maybe a firmware update at some point?) That in itself would make the price worth it. As I see it right now it's an amazing monitor probably the best ultrawide at the moment, but I'd wait for a sale.

Imazing Picture Quality but Unreliable

The monitor failed 10 days after I received it, failed again 3 months after LG fixed it, then failed again for the 3rd time a week after the 2nd fix. All 3 times were due to the Cooling Unit not functioning properly. It's unacceptable to have to send the monitor back 3x for the same problem. I expect a lot more from LG in both product quality and how it treats its customers. Other than the cooling problem, the picture quality and the monitor itself was great. Decided to splurge on an expensive OLED monitor for work, but I bought myself a problem instead.
