I was a big fan of the 45" 5K OLED but having a screen that large so close up caused motion sickness in some fast paced FPS games. This new 39" 5K monitor is perfect! The vibrant colors, amazing contrast (OLED) and high PPI makes this the best modern gaming monitor on the market in 2026. You have to see it in person to really appreciate how good it really is. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Suprised how well it does in a bright room at 50% brightness. The Panel is very light, and gorgeous, colours are amazing. Text quality is alright, but given I come from 166ppi and 220 ppi is decent. Overall I do recommend this monitor.

IMO this is the best combination gaming / productivity monitor to get in 2026. I think it is the Goldilock's size - not too big, not too small - just right! I only recently started getting back into gaming (via Console or Steam Deck), but I wanted a monitor that I could not only play games from my Mac on, but also a PS5 and a Steam Deck. This monitor is perfect for that. I did not like the default picture settings out of the box, but after playing with the settings, the picture quality is now equal or better than what I was used to. I love it now. I had to make a few trade-offs from my dual-Ultrafine Setup: no built in camera, fewer ports, and lower pixel density. With the exception of the pixel density, I was able to replace the missing functionality with separate accessories, which are better than what you get built into any monitor anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far no issues after only 1 month and the picture quality of my first OLED is very impressive with low latency for gaming as well as HDR, also very immersive. I knew this would be an upgrade over my previous 32" 2k monitor, but didn't know it would how much it would really impress me, it's quite amazing, really. You may think 45" is too big, however if you can use a 32" monitor, you could probably fit this 45" LG monitor and is way more immersive. (Just being a bit wider) As I've only had this for around 1 month, I do worry about OLED burn-in, but it seems LG has protective features to utilize the regular cleaning of pixels and a couple other settings for OLED care. Plus, there are many tutorials online explaining how to look after an OLED panel For the quality of the picture and all the features I really do recommend this product if you can afford to pay a little extra

Before this monitor I was using an 11 year old a 34" ips 60hz ultrawide, and the difference is insane. I preordered this one and I got it about a week ago, and I'm loving every bit of it. The 39" size and the 1500r curve is prefect with this monitor, it still gives you that high pixel density while fully immersing you in your games or work. The blacks are nice and inky and the colors really pop. The dual mode is great for competitive games, and the brightness really stood out to my, I was worried that is wasn't going to be super bright as I didn't know the nits of my last monitor, but it really surprised me. It's actually so bight I have to turn it down. This truly is the best monitor I've used or seen.

I find going from a IPS panel to this OLED the text is just ok. If you need something razor sharp then you need to find another monitor or try this monitor to see if it works.
