I can have multiple windows open side by side, so I can research and write my essays without constantly switching between them. Very happy with it overall.

I have wanted one wide screen monitor for quite a while and when LG bought this one out I was impressed. As most of my kit is also Apple hardware I compared it with the 5g2g studio and decided this was the one to go for, well done LG.

Text clarity is finally acceptable, HDR is mint, and I was pretty lucky with the panel lottery, as there's only minimal grey banding, which I hope will slightly diminish with panel usage. Also, as of now, zero dead pixels. Considering its size and the resolution, I think it will become my personal favourite. 5K2K on a 39-inch ultrawide display might be the best invention since butter. Slightly oversaturated reds out of the box, but nothing you can't adjust to your preference. Gaming on this beast is a pure thrill. Highly recommended.

The size is one of the things I like most about it, especially for gaming, as it gives everything a much more immersive feel without feeling too overwhelming. The resolution is also excellent and makes games look really sharp and detailed. I've mainly been using it for gaming and I'm very happy with how it looks and performs. I also really liked getting Crimson Desert included for free, which was a nice bonus and something I was genuinely happy to receive. Another thing I really like is the overall design. The bezels are clean and minimal and it doesn't have that overly aggressive gamer look that a lot of gaming monitors have. It looks just as good sitting on my desk when I'm not gaming, which I really appreciate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this monitor a few months after I rebuilt my gaming pc for 4k gaming. A high end machine needs a top of the line display. After prompting a few AI systems, I was recommended an LG 45" inch wide screen display. At the time of researching, the 39GX950B had just been released and was being advertised as a marked improved monitor. Since purchasing, I've replaced my dual monitor set up across gaming and programming to just using the single display, as it's replaced all my needs.

I ordered this as a preorder and ended up getting it early. After 1 week of use, I love this monitor. Gaming, productivity you name it, this is the end game Monitor. I have the 45in 5k2k as well, that is a great monitor as well but the 39in takes productivity to another level The text clarity is great, colors are amazing, couldn't be happier

I was a big fan of the 45" 5K OLED but having a screen that large so close up caused motion sickness in some fast paced FPS games. This new 39" 5K monitor is perfect! The vibrant colors, amazing contrast (OLED) and high PPI makes this the best modern gaming monitor on the market in 2026. You have to see it in person to really appreciate how good it really is. Highly recommended.

Got a preorder after watching Monitors Unboxed review, which finally confirmed it was a good choice (I was upgrading from Dell Alienware 34 Ultrawide). The monitor lives up to the expectations - crisp colors, no font fringing in Win11 and excellent resolution. The only concern worth noting is that to fully enjoy 5k2k is to have a good GPU. I'm running 4090 and it's a stretch, so I need to optimize settings a bit more. No regrets and loving my new toy! P.S. I was worried that the curvature might be too much, but it's actually great and I wasn't expecting I would be enjoing so much!

Size, brightness, colors and text clarity are really, really good. I returned mine due to HORIZONTAL banding issues. There were lines across the entire screen, visible when the image had a lot of light colors.. light grey, light brown, etc. Also, with white content, there was this almost sparkle effect I noticed.. not sure if this was caused by OLED tech or the matte coating. Just couldn't accept these cons at this price. Pic attached but it doesnt show the extent of the defect.
