This machine is made from butter-soft metal where it matters most. The exhaust manifold and cylinder head are made from such fragile material that they might as well be ceramic. The first unit I ordered arrived broken right out of the box. Thinking it was a fluke, I bought another one from a different retailer. Big mistake. The second machine worked—until it tipped over during transport (my fault, not secured well). Like any small engine, it needed the spark plug pulled to drain the fluid from the head. But here's the catch: the design is so cramped that it's nearly impossible to reinstall the spark plug straight without risking damage. Sure enough, while carefully reinstalling the plug, it cross-threaded—and when I removed it, a chunk of the cylinder head came with it. Let that sink in: simply removing the spark plug caused part of the engine block to crumble apart. just purchased this product. the instructions made assembly simple, everything needed was included except for a 10mm wrench and an allen wrench. Operation of the unit is similar to my old one (of a different brand) but the pressure of this new one is phenominal compared to the old one.

This machine has the power to deep clean concrete, stone or other masonry surfaces. It is a sturdy unit that I expect to last for me a long time--forever! I used it to clean the mower deck also, which was an improvement over the old hand-scraping method. You'll want to get a good pair of high boots to operate it for very long.

The setup was so easy. It only took two poles on a brand new machine and it started. It has low vibration and lots of power. I didn't know I could enjoy power washing my driveway again. It has a very good price point. So far. I'd have to say I'm extremely happy with this pressure washer.

My old PW machine wouldn't start so decided to purchase a new machine rather then have it repaired. I am so glad. This machine cut my exterior driveway, sidewalk and curb cleaning time by about 60%. Lived here since 2000 and the concrete is so white with so little effort. Crazy stuff. Kinda expensive but as they say, Time=Money.

I purchased this unit due to the many good reviews it has received. I'm glad I did, as it is a sturdy, well-built machine. I used it to pressure wash my house recently, and it performed flawlessly. Much more powerful than my old Excel 2300 psi unit with Honda engine. Some positive attributes are: 1) Very easy to remove fuel from carburetor for winter storage with the fuel shut-off switch and bowl drain. 2) Heavy-duty Triplex pump will last many years. 3) Very sturdy frame and tires makes it easy to maneuver. Some not so positive attributes are: 1) The cover to the muffler should be painted something other than black. Looks similar to the air filter housing and gas tank, so I mistakenly placed my hand on it while standing back up from filling the soap dispenser - won't do that again. 2) The soap dispenser tank is difficult to access as it is located directly under the water hose connection. Overall a very good unit - would highly recommend.

Bought this a week ago and by far this is the best pressure washer I have tried. I originally bought an electric pressure washer from a local retailer (different brand). It did not run very long before overheating so I returned it and decided to get a gas powered unit. I saw this one and thought I would give it a try. I like that it had the triplex pump and good pressure. I was not disappointed. I have used it for about 5 hours now across 3 days and it starts on the first pull each time and has never overheated. Just good pressure all the time. Would definitely recommend.

I have over a thousand feet of 10' and higher rock walls around my property and was looking for a pressure washer that would make it easier to clean the rocks. I had been using a 3600 psi pressure washer and was reading that stepping up to a 4400 psi pressure washer makes a big difference so I purchased the Westinghouse WPX4400. Initially, the pressure is great. When I first pulled the trigger it knocked me back the pressure was so great. I did not turn down the pressure knob, but will probably do so when I do not need so much pressure. The manual covers 3 different models (the 3600, 3800 and 4400). It is confusing when dealing with the 4400 since there are parts not even needed on the 4400, but this is not explained so it was a little frustrating trying to follow instructions that did not even apply to the 4400. It would be helpful if the manual explained when instructions do not apply to certain models. The first time I went to start the 4400 the compression was so high that it would not turn over. After five pulls the handle came off due to the knot pulling through the handle. After fixing the handle I tried to start it again while my wife held the trigger down on the wand. This removed some of the pressure and it then started. This should be explained in the manual that for the 4400 it is necessary to depress the trigger to reduce the pressure and compression. After the first time I just held the wand myself and pulled the trigger and was able to start the pressure washer myself. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

Easy assembly. Would like to have had the carry handle to fit in the guides with a little more friction [as is the handle seems loose while pulling]. This unit is ready out of the box to work. Little assembly is required. I would advise you to read the manual before use.

On first use, 2 of the bolts for the pump motor vibrated out and fell to the ground. All of the bolts on the pump motor were not tightened down. After tightening these bolts, the pressure washer works great. Would have been 5 stars other than this.
