I am a former athlete that used to use a lot of protein powders, but as I've gotten older, I am not as interested in bulky muscle, as much as I am about lean muscle and healthy joints. Collagen is the perfect solution. Vital Proteins is probably the most trusted collagen powder brand on the market, and the product is great, but my only complaint is the price per serving size. It is extremely expensive in comparison to the typical bodybuilding.com protein powders. I understand a little bit of a mark-up as the biggest collagen powder brand, but I just wish they'd at least sell it in bigger bulk at a much lower price per serving.

The next day after drinking my collagen with tea I wondered if I could feel any difference in my body. I kid you not, from the inside of my skin, in my body, I felt moisturized. I felt it throughout my whole body. I would like to know if anyone else experienced anything like this. Also, my skin is soft. My hair and nails are healthy and growing like crazy. Everything on the inside just feels lubricated. I don't have to pop my knuckles to get relief anymore.

Excellent integration, especially with hot beverages. Very minimal taste to the flavorless collagen, and less offensive tasting than other collagen I've tried. My only wishes are that it could be less expensive and that the serving size scoop could be equal to one full serving and not a half.

I was away for several weeks so I wasn't able to properly try this product out (which I bought for a soft tissue injury) My only concrete thought is that this tastes very strongly of cow hair/fur/coat and not in a pleasant manner (FYI: I like the smells of barns, farms, and animals). I'm a pescetarian and bought this flavor only because it comes in a larger size for less money. Wish I had bought the fish version of this instead.

I just purchased the vital protein coconut and already seeing results after my first round. My hair is not dry anymore. The collagen mix is really bringing the proteins back that I have been lacking due to age. I am very happy with the product. I can also see my skin is more hydrated again. Thanks!

Two things: 1) a few weeks after beginning to use collagen,, I noticed that, for the first time in my life, I have strong and shapely fingernails and smooth cuticles, just like my mother did. My weak and problematic nails always took after my dad's. 2) A wonderful breakfast indulgence: I microwave a mug of 1/2 water and 1/2 rice drink; add a touch of freeze-dried decaf & a 1/2 tsp of powdered chai mix. These froth up the mix. Then I add a scoop of collagen, which makes it REALLY frothy & indulgent. Woo-hoo. And the collagen is especially good in soups, too. Mary

I tried Collagen Peptides first but wanted to try the move to Marine Collagen for ethical reasons. I've gone straight back to Collagen Peptides! The reasons? - Marine Collagen doesn't mix as well - you can taste and smell fish slightly (with Collagen Peptides you don't even notice it) - Marine Collagen is more expensive in a smaller tub than expected - my hair was lovely and soft with Collagen Peptides but I noticed it went back to before with the Marine Collagen How I use my Collagen Peptides... - 1 scoop in the morning first thing to hot water with fresh lemon, fresh ginger and a pinch of turmeric - 1 scoop at night to nighttime tea (chamomile for example) I also do a lot of training in the gym, running and cycling and I've noticed a difference in my recovery and overall health. I use the Collagen Peptides once a day in my tea and I love it. It does have a very minimal flavor, but it doesn't ruin my tea or anything, and it didn't take long to get used to it. I have noticed after a few months of using it that my hair, nails, and skin feel great, as well as my overall wellness since I workout daily.

I bought this about a month ago and glad that I made the switch. I was using another brand that doesn't dissolve in my coffee as well and I always felt it made my coffee bitter. But I drink this with no problem and it doesn't effect the flavor of my drink. It doesn't dissolve in cold very well but I put in my coffee each morning and good to go.

I've been using this for a while now -- it provides a good source of protein. With one scoop delivering 9 grams, it can help make up shortfalls when watching protein. Mixes into liquids better than other powders I've tried. I find that adding the powder to the drink is best, and this probably mixes easiest with hot drinks like tea. When I add it for a cold drink, I find that I need to use a hand blender to get it homogenized.
