I have been taking this product for almost two years, enjoying it in my coffee every morning. I plan to continue to use it forever b/c I feel it is helping my 80-y/o body. However, I just purchased a 20oz supply in the NEW packaging??? What were you thinking??? It is impossible to open it following the directions provided. I finally had to use a sharp kitchen knife to run it around the edge, risking an injury. I hate to think that I will have to stop buying this product just because of this packaging change. It's really bad....and I don't write bad reviews ever!! Please rethink this.

I finished my first container and definitely noticed an improvement in my skin. However i just can't stand the taste. If i put it oj i can barely taste it but it ruins the taste of coffe/tea and is horrible in water. I found it to have a slimy consistency. Plus i think it made me constipated. I have paused my auto delivery and not sure i will resume. I am torn because i do feel like i saw an improvement in my skin but not sure it is worth the trade off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've been taking this for 3 months as a recommendation from my nutritionist, my skin is so soft and very clean looking! I get compliments all the time on how my skin looks. I feel more vitalized as well.

I tried this product after a friend recommended. I add it to my morning coffee daily, can't even tell it's there! I was hopeful to experience improvement in my joints and my hair and nails are noticeably stronger. Excellent product that I recommend to everyone!

I don't understand why so many people are giving one-star reviews because of the new packaging. I think it's great that this company is being more mindful of plastic, and honestly, you have to be kind an ogre if you're messing up opening and closing this product. Great product and happy to have less plastic containers!

I have been using this product for 2 years and I love the improvement to my skin, hair and nails. However, there have been numerous changes to the vital proteins unflavored powder in the past year. The serving size on 1 container is 1 1/2 tablespoons and another container it is 2 tablespoons. It could be because we have received 2 different size blue scoops. But some packaging no longer contains a scoop. The last container I bought online was called a "beauty formula" with different packaging. The latest container I bought is a totally different formula with the breakout of the amino acid profile. Not sure what the daily requirement is for amino acids, so this labeling didn't mean anuthing to me (why not tout the benefits of the amino acids in your labeling?). This same container had yet a larger white scoop than the other 2 blue scoops I have had in other products, no plastic pull tab, but a foil tamper evident safety seal. In addition, the powder texture is much different, yet mixes well in coffee. The problem is that at the end of the cup of coffee, the last of the coffee is like "sludge" and it tastes awful. I am tired of all of the changes with serving sizes (1 1/2 tbls and 2 tbls), scoops included/not included, different sizes of scoops (20 CC and 25 CC and the white scoop) and formulation changes. I am switching to another brand for my husband and myself.

This is such a great supplement! It dissolves and mixes so well in everything I've used it in - from smoothies to coffee to energy bites. Plus, there's no weird aftertaste. Also, I have seen a noticeable improvement in my skin after using collagen peptides for a few months.

I've waited to post a review since I figured it would take awhile to see results. I've been taking a scoop full every day for the last 8 months. I'm 68 years old and have found this product to improve the look of my skin and other benefits. I first noticed my eye lids started to smooth out after about 5 months. Now I'm noticing other areas, neck, jawline, upper arms and legs appear to be getting smoother with less wrinkles. I've had a couple of cortisone shots in my thumbs before but haven't had anymore episodes since taking this. I highly recommend this.

I have been using this for 3 months now. As a conscious, non selfish human, I am greatly happy with new packaging. It was such a heart ache to get one more product that I use regularly and have a huge plastic packaging each time. I have no idea how people manage to mess the opening instructions up; brand has such a straight forward and clear instructions to open it up and once it's open, you can just use it even easier than the plastic one. Unbelievable to me that people asks for plastic one back just because they don't want to put a little effort - like really little - to figure things out. No issue with using two hands because, come on, if you have both, you as well can take that 2 seconds to twist the lid of the plastic one. But I literally can open the paper one with my hand. I also don't understand how this is harder to store as it's literally the same size as the plastic one. I am super happy! Great brand move towards conscious consumption. BUT I also have some concerns and as a non-long term purchaser I am a little lost; I wish to get some support on this point. This is my second package. First one was the plastic one and the color was slightly clearer. And when mixed with hot water and whisked, it would become transparent. And would not smell or taste. This time it has more yellowish color, it smells - and changes the taste of my coffee while still being unflavored - and when I whisk, it's not transparent, it looks milky. So as a fan of transparency and scientific responses, I'd love to know why all these things are different in this product. I literally feel like I am making my coffee with bone broth. Not cool. And doubt will continue to buy despite good results cause it's incredibly unpleasant.

Package did not say if it was Peptides I , ii or , iii. The taste seemed to change if the beverage was hot or cold. But instructions did not say that it was best used on a cold or hot drink. It clumped in cold drinks this product is good I may try again.
