Okay so this kind of ended up being a beautiful coincidence... I was actually looking for just a regular protein powder when I stumbled on to this... I figured 18g protein per serving plus the benefits of collagen & positive reviews, I'd try it out... It's a winner! I suffer from joint pain (particularly in my hands during winter) and that is the biggest change I have seen since starting to use this product. I can honestly say in the ~6 months since starting to take this daily, my hands have noticeably improved. Gosh, they've bothered me maybe 3 times... compared to daily pain before starting this miracle product. Also, it dissolves almost instantly and has an extremely mild flavor (can only taste it a little when I put it in plain tea). Usually every morning I will put 2 scoops in hot or cold coffee and I can't tell it is even there, except for the fact my hands continue to not hurt! Plus it is nice to have a boost of protein in the AM. If you are on the fence to try this product, take a leap of faith! I'm sure glad I did. P.S. It also dissolves beautifully into smoothies! I have been happy with this product, BUT the new canister is awful. Took awhile to “pinch and pull “ it open. Someone with arthritic hands would never be able to open this. I had my old canister, so I reused it. But that doesn’t help with opening the new ones in the future. Might go back to Neocell Collagen for the ease of use.

I have been using this product for more than a year now. I noticed the most difference with my hair. It is thicker, stronger, and has less breakage. Secondly I have noticed a difference in my joints. I have been a paralegal for over 20 years. I have a lot of pain in my wrist and fingers. After about 6 months, I noticed a reduced level of pain. I started with the ground collagen adding to my coffee in the morning but now takes the pill form for convenience.

I have been using Vital Proteins collagen peptides for years, and have considered it to be a nice enough protein powder -- though I wouldn't say I've noticed a significant change in hair/skin/nails when I am taking it vs. when I am not. However, I find this new "Terms and Conditions" agreement on their packaging concerning: this does not send the message that Vital Proteins is willing to, in PR-speak, 'stand by their product.' I suggest researching "consumer forced arbitration" to learn more about the implications of these sorts of T&Cs. In the meantime, I will look for a brand that does not bind me to a "mandatory arbitration agreement" as soon as I open the package.

I love this product. I've put it in smoothies, coffee, and added to breakfast muffins. Can't even taste it or tell it's been added. I added it to cold water and drinks as well, you have to stir continuously or it clumps, but still doesn't affect the taste that much. Love this product!

What an absolutely amazing product! My hair and nails are longer and stronger in just 8 weeks of use. I have virtually no joint pain. I am so happy I started this supplement! I have already started my Mother, Mother in Law and Sister in Law on the product!

I was skeptical in the past of collagen supplements, but after doing some research and looking at available clinical data on the benefits, I decided to start incorporating it into my diet. I selected Vital Proteins at the recommendation of a relative who is a physician. It has now been about a month since I began mixing it with whey protein in my morning coffee. I am impressed with how well it blends (not too clumpy or sticking to the bottom of the cup). I purchased an unflavored product, but now would like to try some of the other options. So far, I have not noticed a marked improvement in my skin, but I may have noticed some subtle changes in that my skin seems more well-hydrated. As a runner, I also hope it will increase bone density (over time) and help with overall strength.

Powder seems to help my nails and hair. I mix it into my oatmeal every morning. I did not see any difference to my joints, so trying the Type 2 capsules and will see how that goes. While I like this product for general health, I am looking for alternatives with sustainable refill packaging because the amount of plastic canisters I accumulate is awful. I know there may be quality trade-offs, but I feel too guilty right now. I am hoping hoping hoping that being a B Corp will motivate VP to find alternatives. Removing the scoop is a first step (yay), but need to take care of the rest.

Love the product but frustrating that you don’t make in a standard 30serving container like pretty much every other mfg in the industry. Also the fact that you change your formulas between retail & online sales is extremely misleading & for the price, it’s ridiculous!

Used the product in my tea daily for 5 weeks straight and didn’t really notice a difference UNTIL I removed protective hairstyle! My hair had never looked so healthy! It was shiny thick and strong. That was enough to convince me to make this product a priority in my everyday diet! People have also notice how supple my skin looks as well. I have been recommending this to everyone.
