I am picking up the pieces of s life well lived. Dehydration, alcohol, stress, have taken a toll. For the last year I have taken just half the recommended dose and yet I have been getting compliments on my skin and hair regularly. In addition to this I have found it much easier to stay within a weight range I am comfortable with. I had bought a different collagen from my local health food store, but then switched to Vital Proteins because of all the great reviews. I was quite disappointed. It does not taste good and I noticed no benefits. It was also 1.5x the price for a smaller container than the other product. I won't be buying vital proteins again and will be switching back to the other brand.

My nails are finally growing. I keep them short, but before - I couldn't get any length on my nails at all. I've been taking Vital Proteins for about 5 months now, it's really helping! I think it's helping my hair too, but I can't the obvious different like i can with my nails. I always add to a bottle of water, add in a little flavor, and get my day going.

I was excited to try this product as I was looking for a protien collagen combo. I took this in my morning coffee. I purchased the unflavored however, it did have a taste so I had to add cream to my coffee to offset the taste and continue to stir before I drank it as it would clump at the bottom. I also made me constipated, so I had to use a fiber supplement to offset that. But the worst part was, I gained weight with this product. and I was bloated I counldnt wear my wedding ring. Nothing else in my diet changed, if anything it helped me eat less. So unfortunately this is not a product for me.

When in doubt, throw a bit of collagen in. Morning coffee, absolutely. Kids smoothies, definitely! There are no wrong ways to use this collagen and that's why I love it so!! There's no flavor, so it blends well into just about everything, and you can be confident in the quality. I've tried quite a few different brands, but Vital Proteins is my tried and true.

It has been just a month since I started adding this to my coffee. 2 scoops. I was looking for something that would help my fingernails. They have been splitting and have terrible ridges for the past 5+ years and nothing seemed to work. My nails now seem a bit better and I am hoping with a more long term use of Collagen, they will at least stop splitting.

I am a healthy middle age woman in good physical shape. I started using this product to increase my protein levels and to boost hair and nail growth. I used this product for about 6 weeks, 5 times per week in a protein shake. I had a routine physical several weeks ago with a complete blood count and discovered that my Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels were above the normal range for the first time in my life. I was sent to a Hematologist/Oncologist for further testing and I was scared to death. I discovered that this product is what put my red blood count levels above normal range. Thankfully, once I stopped using it, my levels are now in a normal range. Use with caution!
