I'm wondering if other people are having gastrointestinal issues after taking this. I have been taking a half a serving at night in my tea and a half a serving in the morning in my coffee with continued gastrointestinal issues that seem to be getting worse. I was thinking it must be something else but this is the most consistent thing I take. I would love to hear from the company on their thoughts. I plan on stopping Vital Proteins to see if there is an improvement.

Bad reviews on not mixing but I've found it to resolve well in my hot tea/water. I only use one scoop as there is a light “taste”. I'm also not sure if it's this that is giving me a headache or one of other many things but I have noticed it past couple days. Will monitor and see.

I started having problems with protein absorption and at the suggestion of a dietitian, I started looking for ways to get more protein in the form of amino acids into my diet. I decided to try Vital Proteins. I use it in my morning coffee. I love how easily it dissolves and I cannot tell it's there! The surprising side effect is my hair has gotten fuller. My hair dresser says she can see a lot of new growth. Don't expect results overnight but they will be noticeable.

I've been using this product for years. My primary use is to maintain my joints and to enable me to continue to run as I get older. I do not want to get 'stiff' as I witness in so many that comes with age. The hair, skin, and nails is a plus. I add it to my coffee every day and there is no taste or noticeable texture changes.

Tried this new product and definitely could smell a very unpleasant smell from the moment I opened the canister. I have always used collagen powder in my coffee so I definitely noticed this added a bad flavor to my coffee plus it doesn't not dissolve as well as the original. I simply cannot order again and go thru such unpleasantness, even if it has added benefit of the Vit. C and HA. Sad, as I was hoping this could be my new product I would always re-order.

I've been using VP collagen peptide powder for about a year for its anti-aging benefits but not consistently. About five weeks ago, I decided to ensure I had my 10g scoop every day. I've never had nails as they were always brittle, thin and prone to breaking and peeling. A couple of weeks into my new daily routine I noticed my nails were stronger and growing faster. I started taking this product after my thyroidectomy. Having suffered from hyperthyroidism, my nails were extremely weak and my skin extremely dry. Within 3 weeks I noticed a marked difference in the strength of my nails and my skin seems to be improving as well. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this product a month ago but went on a trip so I only have got to use it for three weeks but not consecutive weeks. So I am hopeful to see continued progress. The one thing I have noticed is how clear and healthy and glowing my face looks! Like my acne has never been this good especially with all the mask wearing!!

I had hurt my knee while running and had dealt with the pain for few weeks. I had been hearing Erin Oprea talk about VP for a while and decided it was time to give it a try. In about 4 weeks my knee pain was gone and has never returned. Love this product!

It's misleading that the unflavored collagen peptides is labeled as tasteless and odorless because it's not true. There is actually a very strong and unpleasant (to me) taste to the product and it's especially noticeable in water and tea. I haven't been taking it long enough to see changes in my body so I can't comment on that yet but I have also reduced my intake to one scoop a day because the taste is so bad.
