I take this every morning in my tea, since there is no flavor to, it doesn't affect the taste of my tea. It has done me so much good, in so many ways. With my hair, joints, bones and nails. I would highly recommend this, and I do and will continue to buy again.

You have a fantastic product but have chosen to put it in an ill designed, ridiculously complicated, disaster of a container. I would be completely unable to access the contents if I didn't have access to a saw. That's right, I have to use a saw in the garage to get it open. I have terrible arthritis in my hands, this is the ONLY thing I can't get open using my creative methods. What in the world are you doing? I hope you get rid of these outrageous containers ASAP. Until you do I'm forced to go elsewhere for my collagen. What a shame!!! You say you are “saving the planet” or some silly thing. I guess your thinking is if you can make a container that NO ONE will buy, you'll save the world because you'll have no customers therefore no need for containers!

I started Taking collagen because I've read reviews that's supposed to be really good for you and support healthy lifestyle. It's always good to include more protein. So far, I'm very happy with product and I feel pretty good but there's definitely an error with the serving size listed on the package. A serving size is 20 g, 4 Tbsp. This is incorrect it would be equivalent to 4 teaspoons or 2 tablespoons. I measured it out on my scale just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Who knows if any of these powders actually do what they say they are going to do but at the very least I'd like to know I'm getting the correct serving size. I actually support the no scoop, packaging, and if there's a way to make the entire plastic bottle become more earth friendly, that would be a great step in the right direction as well. Who doesn't have a tablespoon or a teaspoon in their drawer they could easily measure out a serving size with???

I was really excited to try this powder. I guessed it wouldn't have any flavor mixed into my water, but it turned the water a murky yellow. I decided to give it a try anyway and it tastes like a mix of plastic and something rotten or sour. I'm really disappointed as I was anticipating no flavor. I'm a bit scared to try it with tea or something else with the bad flavor being so strong. If you've ever had the prep drink for a colonoscopy, I would say the flavor is pretty close to that.

Packaging is great! I don't see why everyone is having an issue with it, mine opened up easily and closes nicely. Its flavorless which is perfect and dissolves like a charm! Just started taking it so will see how I feel in a few weeks but so far so good and gentle on the stomach which is awesome!

I've been buying this product for some time. However, I just picked up a new container and something isn't right. Idk if they've changed the recipe or what but it tastes like plastic. I always mix it in with my morning coffee. At first I thought it was the creamer I was using. However, when I tried my coffee this morning without the VP there was none of that taste. When I mixed in the VP Powder the taste was back. First they take away the scoop, then the container is only half filled and now the taste/recipe. I guess I need to start looking for a new product. Such a shame I really like this one for a long time.

I'm pretty happy with this product. My hair feels softer and I'm finally meeting my daily protein intake with this added to my daily diet. I barely notice a taste which I prefer. And LOVE that the container is 90% paper versus plastic. You have to pay attention to direction when opening container but worth it - the less plastic my food touches the healthier the product is for my body.

The new cardboard packaging with the pinch and pull is the worst packaging of any product I have ever owned. I had to transfer the entire content to another container to be able to use it as I destroyed the lid in my attempt to open it. I have used this product for a couple of years and had no issues with it. But this packaging is the deal breaker. I will be shopping for another brand.

Here to agree with everyone about the packaging. I hope the company is working on a redesign of some sort. I can't even guarantee the quality of the product over a period of time. I can't seal it with some kind of twist top lid. I'll transfer the product to something I can seal or place the container in an extra large seal proof plastic bag.

My husband and I have been using the Vital Proteins Collagen daily for about two years. We are happy with the product, but I HATE the new packaging. It is so difficult to open the top; when you finally get it open, the top no longer fits the carton anymore. I feel that moisture will easily get into the powder and affect the quality, so I've had to put the whole giant canister in a huge ziplock bag. I understand the ecological reasons behind switching to cardboard, but you need to find a better solution!! I am considering switching to a different company just because of the awful packaging.
