I bought this back in September and I'm so happy I did! I'm elderly and on oxygen so it's important that I have non-stop electricity. After several multiple days without power in Houston, I decided to shop for a generator. I was looking for quality, capacity, cost effective and overall easy to use. I settled on WGen9500 TFc since I wanted the option for natural gas. This one had everything I was wanting. I had a friend come hook it up for me and have it ready for when I need it. Wow!!!! It even comes with a remote and with a push of the button, I was up and running. Very good quality and has the handle and wheels so that even I can move it around as needed. The cost was extremely affordable for my situation and comfort in knowing it is there whenever needed. This unit will run my whole 1750 sqft home along with the A/C. Currently it is hooked up to propane, but I can switch it over to natural gas easily. And as far as easy, I keep it plugged in to a separate plug (just for the generator) and only need to flip the switch on the wall and hit the start button on my remote. Can't get much easier than that. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

I bought this portable generator after we lost power in our home during a bad storm in March of 2025. After suffering without electricity for a day and a half, my wife said we need a generator. After searching different generators, I found this Westinghouse to have the best reviews. Once the generator arrived it was easy to set up and easy to start. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought the Westinghouse backup generator about 2 weeks ago. The unit appears to be a well built unit, and was very easy to setup. I have it connected to a 50 amp circuit added to my electrical panel. The 15 foot cable I purchased to provide power to our residence is certainly heavy duty enough to allow the Westinghouse generator to power our entire house. The generator cover was another addition to provide protection from the harsh sun and elements in Florida.

I bought the generator solely based on the name Westinghouse since I’ve been familiar with their brand all my life and I’ve always had confident in their equipment, so therefore that’s what brought me to make this purchase to have many years of good service with it

I bought the iGen4000DFc earlier this week. After adding oil, fuel, and connecting the battery quick connect cable this thing fired right up. Plenty of power for camping trips, working around the house where you don’t have outlets, or on job sites. It is really quiet and to my surprise it even has a handle that pulls out so you can wheel it around.

I bought this unit hoping that the 5 star reviews were true and not fantasy. In my 50 years of starting up portable generators, this one was by far the easiest. Cranked up the first time on propane and the transition to gasoline was seemless. Voltage was steady and proper. I will be sharing my experience with my colleagues.

Our employer purchased 4 of these IGen 4500 generators for each of our clinics. Being rural clinics, we host mobile shot clinics for the different communities. These generators run the lights, heaters and mister fans for those hot days> they are extremely easy to operate, and the nurses appreciate the handle that pulls out for ease of movement. One more thing! They purr like a kitten not loud and obnoxious.

Just got the Westinghouse 5000. Followed the simple instructions regarding adding oil. Decided to try the propane fule first, so I just connected the gas regulator that was provided to one of my bbq tanks, turned on the power switch, pulled the starter one time and it started right up. It was more quiet than I had expected, and after the motor idled for a bit, I switched to the ECO mode, which brought motor rpms and sound down even lower. I had read some reviews where people had trouble restarting, so I turn it off, waited about 30 mins, and restarted it using the pull cord. It started on the 3 pull this time. I haven't tried the electric start as the battery hasn't been charged enough, but it came with a charger so that is what I will try nex. So far very impressed with the product.

I tried the unit out when I first got it. Hooked up a propane tank and it started right up. Stored it away and 5 months later it got its first real test. Same scenario. Plugged it into the house’s transfer box, started right up and it ran our fridge, separate freezer, well pump and had access to electricity outlets in the kitchen for lighting and charging electronics. Couldn’t ask for more. About 5 hours on a 20lb propane tank and a quick change out when needed. Will probably add a natural gas spigot outside so no changing tanks at all. Tri fuel option is terrific!

I bought this generator after researching other units for price and operational use. I wanted it to connect to my home during power outages with a transfer switch. It has enough capacity to operate six circuits in my house to keep me up and running during a power outage. Unload the battery powered start up and the fact that it has a gas gauge. Other comparably priced units do not have these two features! This made it a great bargain on top of. It’s easy to use and works great.
