We are snowbirds that decided to move to Florida, unknowing about the hurricanes and the loss of power in Florida, we bought this generator just before Ian, and we are so glad we did. New to how generators work, it took a lot of reading, but the instruction booklet was easy to read and follow, there are so many options for this generator. after the storm was over, we are still looking at all the functions of this generator, looks like we can even attach it to the fuse box to light the whole house. We are very pleased with this generator

We bought this a month ago to address loss of electricity in the Houston area due to radical weather patterns (freezes, hurricanes, tornadoes). The model should provide power for our home during a power shortage so we can have our AC and lights. Our bungalow would not fit one of the big generators and the price is much more practical for our needs. We feel prepared for any future issues. Set up was easy and priming the motor required some patience, but the directions were clear with great safety precautions given. Well done

After several power outages, decided that we needed a generator to assure that our basic needs, such as refrigerator, internet, basic lighting, etc. had power when we experienced severe weather conditions causing black outs. After some research and dialogue with friends, my wife and I decided on the WGen9500DF. Couldn't feel any better about our purchase. It's been a great power source, easy to use, best of all easy to set up and learn to operate. A little heavy for anyone with weight restrictions to move around, but I'm sure that this minor issue and could not be helped in order to attain this level of power and dependency.

Easy to assemble, easy to start, easy to hook up to my transfer switch box. Ran this generator on propane for 1 hour to my house with PG&E power outage. Was able to run 1 refrigerator in the house, 1 refrigerator in the garage, electric kettle pot, electric countertop oven, washer, 4 bedrooms with LED lights, and 3 TV's. Pushed the machine to maximum and performed. My only suggestion is to alternate between equipment that has high peak draws so you don't overload system. Got-her-done, were good to go and remember 1 is none and 2 is done.

Ordered the Westinghouse WGen 7500 when delivered it was easy to set up and it is easy to use. Purchased because we live in Florida in case of hurricanes or storm outages, this generator was rated high and we are very pleased with it. Husband is very particular about anything we buy so after he researched and chose the Westinghouse wgen 7500 he is very pleased noise level is not bad at all. At least we can keep refrigerator and a few things running if power outage. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a generator

I bought the Westinghouse backup generator about 2 weeks ago. The unit appears to be a well built unit, and was very easy to setup. I have it connected to a 50 amp circuit added to my electrical panel. The 15 foot cable I purchased to provide power to our residence is certainly heavy duty enough to allow the Westinghouse generator to power our entire house. The generator cover was another addition to provide protection from the harsh sun and elements in Florida.

I recently upgraded my existing generator that was 10 years old with a new WGen7500DF based on a recommendation of a friend. Now that I the new generator in my home and I can see the high quality of its construction and the ease of use factor I can say that I am very pleased that I made the purchase. The User Manual is well written and very understandable. It was easy to set up the unit and do a test run for about a 1/2 hour. I am confident that when the true time comes of need that i will be well equipped to start my new generator and maintain my home safely. Thanks Westinghouse!

Super quiet, dependable generator with all the options you could ever want. The ONLY issue is the poor oil change design. There is not alot of room and it makes a mess. After this design flaw is fixed in the next revision, this generator will be unbeatable.

I love the cover I can use generator in the rain the only bad thing is how you connect it to generator the rubber spacers won't stay in place but other than that I love it

The clamps come with metal screws and plastic wing nuts. Should be metal for both, You can use a metal wing nut.
