I bought this generator for our frequent power outages in Florida especially during hurricane season when power can be out for as long as 2-3 weeks at a time. It is powerful enough to run my whole house including AC with power to spare. Dual fuel and electric remote stop and start are just icing on the cake.

The instructions are easy to follow and this is a really nice and powerful unit. After being without power last year for Hurricane for 5 days in hottest time of the year we knew this was a great investment. We also use it when we go tailgating. We are happy with this purchase for sure!

After loosing our power in January of 2025 for an extended period of time, we decided to invest in a portable generator that would carry most of our electrical needs. After reading many other reviews, we decided to buy a Westinghouse model 9500DF. Two days ago, after a bad wind storm, our power went out again. The Westinghouse generator handled all our needs, as it ran perfect on gasoline and then propane! The only issue was on first start up I had to manually hold the choke on, an extra few seconds. It actually states that in the manual. This was a great investment for us and we are very pleased with our purchase.

We have looked at other generators and found this Westinghouse generator fills all of our needs !! Our main concern, within our home, is to have power to our air conditioning system, refrigerator, and freezer when we don't have power. This unit worked well and we consider this an excellent buy as other generators that we looked into were much more expensive.

I bought this to use on some gates I have to weld I had it for two days then I put it to work and I was not disappointed it ran for hours on just a small amount gas it has a hour meter installed which I was going to add but it was nice not having to that all in all first time I used it I was impressed to how it preformed hope I can get many years out of it it will come in handy around the house for sure.

This Westinghouse generator provides everything I need. I thought I needed a permanent full house generator, but after researching this product, I'm comfortable knowing I can set this one up and have everything I need available, should an outage occur.

I bought this a week ago and I love it compared to the old 3500 generator I had nice and quiet haven’t used it for camping yet since the season is still early but I can’t wait to get out camping and connect my 26bh shadow cruiser one other thing while it was runing me and my wife sit down and had a conversation without yelling

I bought this generator to use with my camper while traveling on short overnight trips. I really like the overall size and weight of the unit. It is quite and easy to operate. The affordable price, dual fuel capabilities and electric start pushed it to the top of the list for me.

We ordered this after a MAJOR ice storm in Northern Michigan. Arrived promptly. Have had it for two months and just started it up today due to another outage. Hooked up propane and plugged into my exterior feed port. My wife just got out of the shower and commented that she loves the sound of the generator. LOL Showers and laundry were not an option during the ice storm. This thing is running the entire house including our well pump which is the problem I had with my old generator, not enough output to run the 220 pump. I would highly recommend at this point.

The mix of 110 outlets and the 30 amp plug is great. The very surprising level of quietness was pleasantly unexpected especially for the price. I can’t easily recommend the igen2550 to supply just about anything thing you need that matches the offered plugs.
