I purchased this generator in Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. I did thorough research, and I’m satisfied with the generator. It may be more than I need. Time will tell. It’s heavy - and I do hope it starts and I’m able to manage it when it’s needed! I will only be using it with propane. I also purchased a transfer panel as the beast is quite capable of running many appliances.

I bought it 06/ 01/2025 got in 06/05/2025 thank you it is so easy to start with hurricane season upon us I order early. texted and it is great. just what needed sense my husband has passed away I need something easy, to start and Westinghouse has been always a fine product thank you.

Starting with packaging and assembly, awesome, the 14500 is large, but at 70 plus years old , I could even assemble it by myself, even sent the exact amount of oil, no second guessing, we were involved with hurricane Helene, ready for any weather now, t/y

This generator is super powerful. It powers my entire home, which is approximately 1,850 square feet, including the central air conditioning. Easy to start and operate, this generator has helped me through several hurricanes and storms. Unfortunately, in Texas, we suffer from many power outages after each storm. I highly recommend this generator.

Purchased this generator two weeks ago. The packaging is excellent, and assembly and set up was very easy. It started very easily with the push button start. Haven’t had a power outage yet but feel I am definitely ready this year for whatever Mother Nature throws at me.

Started up with NG and propane. A bit loud but will address this issue later. Have had the 50 amp connection installed to breaker box and added a quick NG release for hookup. Only thing that remains is to test on house rather than waiting for next power outage. After a cost analysis, this was the only logical step moving forward as a house battery is cost prohibitive. Will also be using on road w/ 5th wheel. Will add more when tested for house power. So far, so good. One more note, THD rating was instrumental when selecting a portable generator. This one checked all the boxes. Tri-fuel was also a factor.

t arrived on time and was simple to put together. Recommend a second person as it is heavy. It is well put together with great features. That being said ... not sure how remote start is an viable advantage as generators are supposed to have cords unplugged and breakers turned off before shutting down and in reverse for powering up. Westinghouse is a very recognized quality brand and upon using the generator you will understand why. Quality built for durable use.

I’ve had several generators in the past this is my first dual fuel one and I was skeptical of how it would work, but since I switched over and was running the propane, I don’t have to go out and check the fuel or fill it as much as was the gas Good running machine starts right up no problems whatsoever so far

I am pleased with my purchase. The dual fuel electric start in a smaller generator is welcomed. I found that the 120 / 220 switch is not helpful as when utilizing 220, there is no 120 available for use at the generator panel. Disappointed in the low quality spark plug installed from the factory. (Torch Brand). Plug failed on initial testing. Overall, even with a few setbacks, I would purchase again.

We looked.at several generators.before deciding.on the Westington WGen9500Fc. This has sooo mamy.awesome.feqtures. Including dual.gas/propane, several outlets, push starr.or pull, automatic.key fob start. As soon.as.we got it, we.added the oil, which was procided and a lil gas. It.started on the very.first try. We.cpukdnt be more satisfied with this prpduct and highly recommend. Look no futher!!! This is the generator you want!!!
