I bought this generator after researching other units for price and operational use. I wanted it to connect to my home during power outages with a transfer switch. It has enough capacity to operate six circuits in my house to keep me up and running during a power outage. Unload the battery powered start up and the fact that it has a gas gauge. Other comparably priced units do not have these two features! This made it a great bargain on top of. It's easy to use and works great.

I purchased this unit in April9,2025. I purchased it so I would be able to use majority of my household appliances and air conditioner. Living here in Florida with hurricanes and loosing power. Also the convenience being a woman and using propane. .

Great features on this generator. Electric start, remote start, built in battery charging plug. Makes it easy for my wife or son to start it if I'm not home. 50 amp plug offers plenty of power. Tri fuel is a great feature also. This is my insurance policy when the next hurricane comes through.

I bought this awesome westinghouse generator on the 23rd of April and just received it today and it was very easy to assemble it was just the wheels and front floor legs, put the oil in it and gas, tried it out and I was very impressed on how fast it started right up with the key fob and that was it so simple and fast.By far was one of the best investments I've made, I highly recommend buying one these generators.

WGen9500DF Great unit, getting used to how some products look very cheaply packed and even built. This unit is the opposite of all that. Very well put together and great manual, and the unit operates like a champ. Even my electrician says it's a well set up unit he has helped install on multiple homes. He recommends this unit as well. Very happy I chose this one per reviews I read.

This Westinghouse generator provides everything I need. I thought I needed a permanent full house generator, but after researching this product, I'm comfortable knowing I can set this one up and have everything I need available, should an outage occur.

I live in a rural area so when the power lines are damaged it may take a few days to be repaired. I bought this to run my furnace in the winter and appliances, refrigerator & freezer, in the summer. It was easy to commision and use. I will operate it periodically to power my woodshop just to exercise it. I purchased the dual fuel model so that I have options depending on what I have. The propane operation is satisfactory. So far, I am very satisfied.

I bought this in November 2024 because I have a dog and a cat at home and with the power going out I would be hard-pressed to find a hotel that would accept my animals. After loosing our power in January of 2025 for an extended period of time, we decided to invest in a portable generator that would carry most of our electrical needs. After reading many other reviews, we decided to buy a Westinghouse model 9500DF. Two days ago, after a bad wind storm, our power went out again. The Westinghouse generator handled all our needs, as it ran perfect on gasoline and then propane! The only issue was on first start up I had to manually hold the choke on, an extra few seconds. It actually states that in the manual. This was a great investment for us and we are very pleased with our purchase.
