Own a Westinghouse gas powered welder/generator made back in the 1950s. worked like a charm. Gave it to son in law when I moved. It's still working. This new 9500DF generator seems to be of the same quality, nicely made machine. Glad Westinghouse is still around. gave ot to son

Plenty of power after storm outages to ensure fridges, freezers and water pumps can continue to run. Lots of flexibility in terms of connectivity to your house - regular outlets, large household-size plugs (14-50R or 14-30), or even USB outlets. Got my generator last week. Unpacked it and impressed with the Construction of entire unit. Welds in frame are outstanding! Engine is a little loud but have heard louder ones. Did the break in and ran several appliances and performed Great! Waiting for electrician to put transfer switch to hook up my breaker panel. So far, Impressed and Satified! Bill

I just received it and haven’t used it in a power outage yet. It was extremely hard to start out of the box (after assembly, of course). It finally started after 20 minutes of off and on crank cycles. I’ve started it since then and it started on the second crank cycle.

Bough another brand a few months ago. Defective What a mess. I received yours two days ago. Set it up yesterday and finished this morning. I'm 77 first one my 2 boys helped me, this one I did myself, their not happy. They will be here this week when we hook it to the house. I'll let you know how it runs hook up to the house.

We bought this generator so we’d have it up and running by 2025 Hurricane season here in FL. So far so good. Setup was easy. Using propane for a test run proved very simple and easy. Now we need to try natural gas, which we intend to use in the final setup. But first we need to reconfigure our electrical panel to handle the switchover in case we lose power and that will take some planning, wall changes (holes for electric connection) and maybe a hole for the gas lines. But if we lose power tomorrow, we can use the generator with propane and extension cords, until we get the electric panel redone.

When we were dealing with hurricane Beryl and the power outage it took to long to set up our old generator and didn't last long only 5 hours and it took to long for it to cool down. However this generator is fast, easy, and lasts for so long. It's what I wanted when I was struggling with the power outages.

Very impressive. They thought of every thing. From the oil , tools, propane regulator and parrel cables. I like the compartment to store the on/off fob. Easy instructions and easy start both manual and electric. I like that you can charge usb devices. Love the telescope handle. I could not be more thrilled.

after much research I bought this WGen9500DF for backup power. out of the box and fired up on the first push of the button. very sturdy and amazing build quality. love the blue and black colours. the 50amp receptacle is also great and make this generator very versatile. low THD (less than 3%) value and therefore also safe for sensitive electronics. overall I am very pleased with my purchase! if you are looking for a reliable and sturdy generator DO NOT LOOK FURTHER!
