I bought this generator after helene hit close to home. I pray I do not have to use it but I’m excited to of found this generator because of the tri fuel option. I have a gas line hook up near my panel so i’ll be using the natural gas hook up. I was impressed on the reviews i’ve never really seen an item with a full five star reviews. The auto start with the remote is going to be amazing! Solid built product for sure

I live in Houston Tx where we get storms and power outages. I purchased this generator to power my home with just 2 switches. After our last storm it was money well spent. Folks if you need a powerful yet reasonably priced generator look into this one.

We had a lengthy power outage during a recent winter storm. After shopping around for generators, I found the Westinghouse 9500. I looked no further. It offers plenty of power to keep my home running in the unfortunate event of another power outage, and was priced right. I have peace of mind now knowing we'll be fine if it should happen again. This generator has a solid design, is dual fuel, and even has a remote, electric start!

I wish everything I bought was as reliable as this generator. Right out of the box it started on the second pull. After starting, run very smooth. Then I turned it off and restart. On the first pull, it starts and runs a full load for at least two hours. Then tried it again. First pull start every time and works well. Had it for 9 days and it still performs very well. Would highly recomment it to everyone.

I purchased this cover when I purchased my new Westinghouse generator. I found the install instructions lacking in clarity and used a YouTube video to assemble it. The cover itself seems durable, and it does cover the critical components, while allowing the generator to function properly.

WGen9500DF Great unit, getting used to how some products look very cheaply packed and even built. This unit is the opposite of all that. Very well put together and great manual, and the unit operates like a champ. Even my electrician says it's a well set up unit he has helped install on multiple homes. He recommends this unit as well. Very happy I chose this one per reviews I read.

Got my generator last week. Unpacked it and impressed with the Construction of entire unit. Welds in frame are outstanding! Engine is a little loud but have heard louder ones. Did the break in and ran several appliances and performed Great! Waiting for electrician to put transfer switch to hook up my breaker panel. So far, Impressed and Satified! Bill

t arrived on time and was simple to put together. Recommend a second person as it is heavy. It is well put together with great features. That being said ... not sure how remote start is an viable advantage as generators are supposed to have cords unplugged and breakers turned off before shutting down and in reverse for powering up. Westinghouse is a very recognized quality brand and upon using the generator you will understand why. Quality built for durable use.

I ran it for about 45 minutes on propane and shut it down. It starts easy and runs like a champ, I will update the review after I hook it to NG to run it through the break-in period and change the oil. If you're going to use natural gas you need to Google what size gas line for a 15,000 watt generator.It says 3/4 but that would be for a 10 ft long run. Use this chart to find the maximum pipe run in feet for a gas line to a natural gas generator. I purchased this in case of an emergency as tornados are getting closer to our home with multiple touch downs in our area. Hubby assembled it easily, fired it up with out any issues. Love the remote. Hoping we never need it, however I can rest easy knowing we have it if we ever need it.
