I purchased this generator end of August when we had a storm and the power went out for days. It was really easy and straightforward to assemble and put the wheels on, then just add the oil and gas following the instructions, then stared the generator. It ran continuously for almost two days with no problems at all, it was sufficient for my home. I’m very satisfied with this generator and feel protected in case of any future power outages.

I just received it and haven’t used it in a power outage yet. It was extremely hard to start out of the box (after assembly, of course). It finally started after 20 minutes of off and on crank cycles. I’ve started it since then and it started on the second crank cycle.

I bought this to replace a Generator which I bought years ago at Harbor Freight. Pros: Remote works well, Starts Quickly, is very compact, and has numerus circuit breakers. Cons: Being an inverter generator, I expected it to run near idle with no load, it runs well above idle., The CO2 detector is super sensitive, if you try to shelter it in any way in will stop. Some may consider this a positive, and finally It seems somewhat louder than my previous generator

We chose the Westinghouse iGen2550DFc 2550 Watt Dual Fuel because it best fit our needs for a small generator for camping and emergency power during power outages. We use the generator to recharge the Airstream batteries while boondocking. It will run the Airstream air conditioner (we have a soft start) if nothing else is running. It is also handy to keep the house refrigerator and house freezer going during power outages like we had during hurricane Helene. One nice feature of the Westinghouse iGen2550DFc is the 30-amp RV connector, although it does not produce 30 amps unless paralleled with another generator, it makes connecting the generator with our travel trailer very easy. It can be connected to propane port on our Airstream with a straight hose, or directly to a propane tank using the regulator and hose sent with the unit. Using propane, the available power from the generator is a slightly less than running it with gas but we generally use propane. This is an important feature for us camping. The generator is very quiet. It is the perfect choice for us.

I bought this to replace a generator I gave away to our church drive for North Carolina. The high reviews and dual fuel was a plus and the price is good. Have not tested it at time of writing the review. Packed well and glad they supplied the oil and propane line to get you started. Instructions are very clear and easy to read and follow. Looking forward to testing

I had to review a tent. to receive a cover. idk how this works. i havne't run the generator so idk how itworks. I can't accurately say how it works. but I don't want to wait 6 months to get the cover.

I’ve had several generators in the past this is my first dual fuel one and I was skeptical of how it would work, but since I switched over and was running the propane, I don’t have to go out and check the fuel or fill it as much as was the gas Good running machine starts right up no problems whatsoever so far

I bought it 06/ 01/2025 got in 06/05/2025 thank you it is so easy to start with hurricane season upon us I order early. texted and it is great. just what needed sense my husband has passed away I need something easy, to start and Westinghouse has been always a fine product thank you.

I bought this generator because I have a dog and a cat at home and every year it seems like the power goes out for at least a day and sometimes more. Recently the power went out for three days, and fortunately, my neighbor’s power went out, but mine did not. With that being said if I had to go to a hotel, they would certainly not accept my dog and my cat so, I had to purchase this so I could have peace of mind to keep my house warm and comfortable for my animals and myself. I am so glad that I did. I have peace of mind now that I will not have to abandon my home to go to a hotel. This generator allows me to hook up to my natural gas, so I don’t have to change any bottles out and it’s so convenient. I would highly recommend this generator to anyone.

I bought this in November 2024 because I have a dog and a cat at home and with the power going out I would be hard-pressed to find a hotel that would accept my animals. I am one of those crazy cat ladies that will not leave their pets behind. They are part of my family! This generator lets me stay at home and keep myself and my animals comfortable and safe in our home. I had the utilities guy come out and put a transfer switch in my circuit breaker panel and the gas guy come and hook up a connect so I can run it through natural gas and it basically runs my whole house. I love it!
