Hurricane season is coming and this generator is gonna be my main backup for powering my house in case of a blackout. Powerful enough to have my A/C, refrigerator, lights and plugs going so I don't have to sacrifie using one over the other. Definitely recommend.

I bought this generator after a recommendation from my electrician! The cost savings over a "built in " generator was substantial and this generator was the perfect size and fuel flexibility that made it a standout. I am sincerely impressed with the quality offered at this price point! Although I am not looking forward to the next storm and/power outage, now I am prepared!

I have not used it yet in a stressful matter. I cranked it up and plugging a 110 volt power tool after I set it up out of the box to make sure it would generate power. Going to hook it up to my 36 foot fifth-wheel RV (50 amp) in a few days and turn on both A/C's to put a good load on it for a real test.

Living in houston, hurricane season is upon us, this last storm shot us into action to be proactive and have out own power source. Few friends bought westinghouse units and were very happy so we picked one up as well. Very well built, have already ran through a breakin procedure. very easy to get going, the remote start is nice, came with a battery and wheels unlike a lot of other brands where you need to buy both separate.

Just purchased WGen10500TFC to provide power to home in hotter than heck SE Texas. Waiting on plumber to tap into natural gas line, enabling me to run unit without scrambling for portable fuel. Started unit using lpg btw from grill, with no issues.After ng is hooked up will complete break in period and update review if needed. Have purchased sturdy shed to store unit , electrical & gas line and should be able to have it up & running in 15 minutes, in event of interruption of power.

You can tell it was well built and thought out, right out of box Well written instructions (manual and such) However, I needed to call hotline to find out something that should have been listed in manual...the inlet size of LP connection, so that I can get a needed fitting/adapter, currently on hold for past 30m to find out a detail that should be listed/printed somewhere in the paperwork Also, it should list the length of hose and quick connect size Starting it up soon

We purchased this after hurricane Helene passed through our area. We had talked about buying a generator for a while and this seemed like the time to do it. We won't have to worry about power outages again. This is exactly what we ordered and expected. So thankful that we made this purchase.

Love feeling prepared with this generator. The fact that I can run multiple different fuel sources as able/needed is awesome. Took 20min or so to set up and started right up! This thing is stout and well made. Westinghouse has such a good reputation. Thank you!

Our Westinghouse WGen10500TFc arrived yesterday via delivery truck following 2 week 'special order' wait. The unit unpacked easily in excellent shape, set up is easy and the unit and is now ready to go. Peace of mind begins now! following two multiple day outages this year.

After experiencing our first tornado and having no power for 4 days, we decided to pull the trigger on a portable generator that had the ability to provide whole home power. After days of research I landed on the Westinghouse 13500 Peak watt generator. It's not the cheapest one out there, price wise but for what you get, it's the best bang for the buck! No pun intended. It arrived 97% assembled. You just need to install the wheels, foot pegs and oil that is provided and it's ready to go! Total set up time was less than 5 minutes. We have about a 3,100 sqft house and our electrician said this thing will power all of our essentials and then some without any issues. Obviously you want to limit the work load, but this thing is solid nonetheless.
