Big Things Come in Small Packages

The Westinghouse Model WGen11500TFc is loaded with features one wouldn't expect. Things like Push-button Start, Remote Key Fob, LED Digital Readout, and On-Board Battery Charger, are just a few of the things that come standard. In addition, the small dimensional footprint makes the unit both easy to handle as well as easy to store.

Super excited to have THREE fuel options

Shopped a LOT before deciding on this Generator. I wanted the option to use NAtural Gas as the primary fuel, and even have Propane as a back-up. I COULD even use gas if needed, but we hardly ever lose use of natural gas to the house during a hurricene, so this is a great unit. It feels so VERY well built, and super easy to Assemble. AND they included ALL the hoses and connections for the LP and NG options, so it was super easy to connect to my house supply line.

Great Features. Easy to use fuel selection switch

Easy to use fuel selection switch, push to start button, and very compatible key fob. Also, the tri-fuel system is very beneficial because of the convenience. Overall, the system is very good, the only small con it has is that it is slightly loud but that is not really a problem at all.

WGEN11500TFC

VERY PLEASED WITH THIS GENERATOR. VERY WELL BUILT AND GREAT PRICE TO COMPARABLE MODELS FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS. I CURRENTLY OWN A 6000 WATT WESTINGHOUSE GENERATOR THAT WORKS GREAT BUT JUST NEED TO UPGRADE TO ONE THAT HAS MORE POWER. I AM CONFIDENT THAT THIS GENERATOR WILL TAKE CARE OF ALL MY POWER NEEDS IN THE EVENT OF ANOTHER POWER OUTAGE.

So easy to set up!

After upgrading my home's electrical system and generator line to 50 amps, I ordered the Westinghouse 14500 and I am simply amazed at how easy it is to set up, run, and use. It seems like there was a lot of care involved when engineering the setup process. The remote system is awesome, too. Along with the remote power switch on my house, I never have to step outside during these crazy Louisiana storms! Much less, does my wife and kids have to when I'm gone.

New generator

Just got this Thursday and put it through some paces today. Set up is pretty easy. Generator weighs a little more that I had expected. You will need help getting it out of the truck. Sin e there is no oil in it, I turn the box upside down and opened the box. Flipped it over and slid the box off the generator. All other setups are simple and easy to do. I have not nad probably will not use gasoline in this generator. I plan on using propane or natural gas only. I started it using propane and it runs smooth. I have not truly had the opportunity to pace it on a full load yet, but from what I have run on it, I am sure it will perform as advertised.

Great generator! Solid manufacturer!

Well made, solid, durable should last years. Fantastic features especially push button/remote start. Great that it runs on gasoline as well as LP and nat gas. I was impressed that it also came with the battery, oil as well as lines for both LP and nat gas so nothing else to buy except for your fuel source.

Best purchase EVER!!!!!

We bought this generator to replace an older generator of a different brand that my wife couldn't crank. I work out of state we live in Florida and are prone to power outages from storms. This generator gives us the security and peace of mind, knowing that she has power, no matter what! We love it just buy it!

Great Unit so Far!

After a hurricane we decided we needed to have a generator. These have come highly rated so we decided to buy one. We have primed it but have yet to use it so thats the reason for only 4 stars. Hope to never need it but if so hope to be able to come back to my review and update to a 5 star!

Solid build. Many power options. Quick/easy start.

This generator, or a smaller version of it, was well rated by Consumers Union. It assembled very quickly and started easily with the pull, electric, and remote starters. It has good power options and I like that it is Transfer Switch ready. I've only had it a short time and have only used it for small loads so far. It is a bit more noisy than I hoped it would be, and it doesn't seem to have an "idle" mode, if that's even a thing. It seems to run full speed whether under load or not. (Maybe it must to maintain the 60Hz frequency..)
