Easy to Use

Recently purchased this system, replacing an older traditional generator at half the rated power. Inverter was easy to set up, started (on LP) without issue and was able to easily recharge my 6KWh split-phase battery backup system. Overall, very pleased with this inverter

Great generator.

We bought the igen11000Dfc in the beginning of March 2025. It was so nice to be able to have a gen on and be outside and be able to have a Conversation and not have to yell. Is was super easy to set up put together and start. Gen comes with good Quality tools to put the gen together.

Surprise Bonus and Upgrade on a Great Generator

I just got this product delivered yesterday, It was easy to unbox and assemble. I had pulled out my toolbox but everything including quality tools were included. It started right up after I added the provided oil and connected the battery starter. I was pleased that it ran quiet at about 68 db without a load. After I powered up an upright refrigerator the decibel rating stayed the same. I am looking forward to see how it handle a much larger load but so far everything is working great after running it over an hour for initial break in. We are installing a 50 amp plug with and interlock switch to our electrical panel for emergency home backup. I had ordered the dual fuel (propane and gas) model but was pleasantly surprised when I got a free upgrade to the tri-fuel model which I can use since we have natural gas. This comes with a three year warranty which I hope to never use. So far everything is exact as described and this is a happy buyer.

A serious design flaw

I bought this generator to support my “off grid” cabin!. It started and ran well right out of the box , It has a battery start and optional “pull start” . The battery switch must be turned off anytime the generator is not running as the monitor will kill the battery.. The problem is the pull start will not start the generator if the battery is dead ! defeating the purpose of the pull start .. I was told this is unique to “duel fuel” units as the battery controls a fuel valve . Also the battery must be “on” for “auto start” to work, but will go dead in 24 hours.. defeating the purpose of auto start !! I will have to provide for an external battery charger to somehow keep the battery charged when the generator is in “standby” !! This Flaw really impairs the reliability of this unit as an auto start power supply backup! This can be easily be fixed with a “manual “ fuel valve and delete the lighted display!

Has a 50 amp outlet

I was looking for a dual fuel inverter generator that had a 50 amp outlet, and this seems like it fills the bill. We had an inlet and interlock installed on the side of our house by an electrician so that we can plug it into the house during a power outage. We did have an initial problem getting it to start, but it turned out that the propane tank was defective. It started using another propane tank. We are still doing the break in period, so I can't comment on usage in an actual power failure.

Quiet with lots of power!

I bought this generator a little over a month ago after I saw it advertised. I am so impressed with the relative quietness of this unit with this much power. With an EasyStart soft starter I had no problem using this to run my 3 ton AC compressor as well as just about everything else in the house. Having an auto-chock with remote start makes it so easy for my wife to start if needed, which is a huge plus when I'm away on business. I'm very pleased with my purchase and now I'm tempted to buy another one for the parallel capabilities, if I can only find one in stock! I think these are very popular right now because of the combination of power and quietness at this price.

Appears well built.

I just picked up the generator a few days ago. It appears well built and after some easy assembly, wheels, handle, connecting the battery, and adding the included oil. I did a test run using propane. The generator started easily and ran smoothly. I was happy with the low noise level, this is an important issue for me. I started the generator with the fob, by push button and by manual pull cord, no problems. I placed a light load on the generator and it continued to run smoothly and quietly. My early impression is very good I would recommend this generator.

Assembles easily, includes manual; runs quietly

Assembly went smoothly and features were clearly described, first when previewing the manual online and then referencing the hardcopy one included in the box. Upon trial startup, the generator ran surprisingly more quietly than our gas-powered leaf blower! We rarely have power outages during the winter months. But in the summer, when we have wind and rainstorms, and living in a rural area thick with many old trees growing along our country roads, we have frequent outages lasting 2-3 days when those trees/limbs fall on the power wires! We believe this generator will be most beneficial and appreciated when we only need to connect a few key electrical items (water pump, temporary AC window unit, refrigerator, TV, lamp, etc.) during those power outages. But this unit will handle our whole-house power needs, if we so desire.

Great Inverter Generator

Ran great for more than 5 hrs. Was really impressed with how quiet it is compared to the open frames I've had in the past. I did have a problem finding the serial number to register it but guessed at the number on the model number placard. Overall, very happy and would highly recommend this generator.

First Operating Review

I wrote my unpacking review a month ago, and now I've completed my first break-in operation. After checking the oil - just to make sure - and connecting the battery and filling the tank with gas that was treated with Sta-Bil, I rolled it out into the driveway. I decided to try using the remote fob, and it started right up. It ran a little rough at first, but I realized I had it in Eco mode, so I switched that off and it smoothed right out. I let it run for 30 minutes, and plan to do that every month until I get through the 5 hour break-in, then change the oil. I was very impressed by how smooth it ran and how quiet it was. After I shut it down, I plugged in the battery tender that came with it to make sure the battery stays in good shape. I am still very happy with my purchase.
