Used propane, hooked up, did the 2 second hold on the panel start and it fired up on the first attempt. Ran great, did the run in at less than 50% load and it ran very smooth. excited to put it under a bigger load. Very happy with the unit and also the price.

Out of the box, they provide you with every tool needed to assemble. You only have to put on the handle, 2 wheels, and bumper stops. They are very easy to assemble, less than 5 minutes, plus the tools they provide are actually good tools to use in the future. Then the kicker is, they provide you with the oil and funnel to fill up the unit. So many generators you have to connect the battery in a painful way. This is a simple disconnect plug. 100 stars for out of the box assembly.

It comes with everything you need to get up and running, including tools (actual hefty tools, not those cheaply made and hard to use things you normally find included with things), a bottle of oil, and a battery tender/charger that you can use to keep the battery topped off when not in use. There is even a port on the front panel to plug the charger into so you don't have to fuss with connecting it directly to the battery. It's so convenient. My generator worked flawlessly out of the box, and I haven't been disappointed with anything about it so far. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but my initial impressions are that it is a great value.

Although we didn’t get a direct hit, it’s still caused mass power outages for days. This generator has all of the bells and whistles that we needed for our home. We love the fact it has a remote start and a CO2 sensor. I highly recommend this brand of generators.

Most reminders are common sense, but it's good to be reminded. While we haven't used it through a storm yet, it seems like it will serve our needs well. We hired an electrician to help wire it into the house and did a test run of the system, and it worked great. It's quieter than expected and the inverter is the way to go over a traditional generator. We're very pleased with our purchase.

Hoping it will power our central air with a soft start plus a few other necessities. We just went through 5 days with no power prior to receiving. No waiting on the next outage tpo test it out. Impressed with all the features and size. This thing is a beast and if not enough power we can add another iGen to get what we need. Bought for the Westinghouse name. Hope it stands up to my needs for many years to come.

Access to the internals via the panels require no tools. It comes with everything needed to assemble it (all the tools/oil). The generator itself is well laid out and the stickers give you all the vital details you could ever need. Draining the oil and carb fuel (if ran on gas) will be easy as they have these little hoses with extra length to dump them outside the gen. Started on first try. Super smooth while running. Looking forward to relying on it if the need comes.

Once it arrived I know I made the right decision to build quality is remarkable and the packaging was excellent. It arrived on a pallet very sturdy yet easy enough for one person too fun pack, and install the wheels and feet. They even provided all the tools needed, including heavy duty wrench to attach the wheels. I know I made the right decision with this purchase.

It is compact, has a 50amp output, easy to move around and very quiet when running. The unit was packaged very well resulting in a pristine unit after removing the box. Very easy to assemble because everything required was in the box including engine oil and wrenches to fit everything.

We haven't had a need to try it yet, and hope we never need to, but having it as insurance brings peace of mind. Change pour le propane, il part je remets à la gazoline sans arrêter le génératrice et elle continue à fonctionner. Depuis cette essai elle fonctionne à la gazoline. Maintenant le remote fonctionne et fonctionne pas même avec une nouvelle batterie????. Après quelques essai avec le propane le régulateur fait défaut ( le gaz ne passe plus) . J’ai passé des heures (des jours) pour comprendre les défaillances et faire des essais. J’ai toujours pas essayer le ats (automatic transfer switch) je crois pas que je vais pouvoir faire confiance à cette génératrice comme backup (system solar) pour ma maison, c’est la premi...

All needed tools were supplied. I needed help to tilt inverter to install feet and wheels. The oil funnel is functional but does not thread as anticipated. I had an issue with startup because I mistakenly set fuel selector switch to Blue (gas) instead of Green (propane). (Propane setting was Blue on my old Firman generator.)
