Great Generator!

I bought this generator in August for use with my trailer. I'm very impressed by it. First of all, it is much lighter than the typical generator. It is much easier to carry around and move. Second, it is very quiet. The generator in on ECOmode it is so quiet compared to other generators. I love this feature because who wants to listen to a bunch of noise while camping. Lastly, this generator is no each to operate! The directions for setup are well written and easy to follow. Once the initial setup is completed, set the choke, pull the start handle on your on your way. It's a breeze. Maintenance seems just as easy. So far I'm happy with the purchase!

Light, Versatile, Long Run Time, Fuel Efficient and Quiet

I have been looking for a nice quiet, light weight, fuel efficient with at least 8 operating hours, 2500 Watt Inverter Generator at a decent price for years. Well, look no further, this is it! It will also run and charge all of your electronic devices safely without fear of damaging them. This Westinghouse generator does it all.

Very quiet, easy to start first time.

I just unpacked this light weight generator. I had an IGen4500 watt Westinghouse generator and it was great. But it was too big for our RV needs, so I ordered this 2550 gen. I put 91 octane fuel in it with a little fuel stabilizer. Added the oil. It took a half dozen pulls on the cord but then it fired right up. It is very quiet. I think it will meet all or our traveling needs.

Ok so far

Arrived in good condition. Added oil and gas and it fired up as expected. We use it for our travel trailer, mainly for charging the batteries when dry camping and running the Keurig coffee maker and microwave, which it does pretty easily. I know the Keurig pulls almost 1500 watts during warm up. It's very quiet and I like all of the information available on the digital display.

Perfect for Camping

I purchased this about 3 weeks ago and broke it out on my last camping trip. It worked as advertised and is the perfect size to store in the bed of my pickup and am even able to close my lid. It is easy to transport. Provides the additional power needed when you are boondocking too. Looking forward to really getting to use it later in the summer when we will be doing a great deal of boon docking.

Well Designed

I got this for my small RV trailer, mainly to run the AC when it gets hot. First impression was how uncluttered and well arranged the generator was. It's light, compact and not that heavy - about the same as a loaded suitcase. Great manual and instructions for starting up and maintaining. Glad I read through it; it's not overly complicated and has great tips as you work through the instructions. I added full synthetic oil instead of the 10W-30 regular that came with because it has a wider operating temperature range. The included funnel is awesome (don't lose it!) as it threads into the the dipstick/fill opening - which I overfilled by accident, but it was easy to drain and get it right. The dipstick is a little difficult to read, but it works. Started on first pull and runs smooth and quiet. Tested out on some power tools and no problem. Really like this generator and looking forward to sleeping cool on road trips!

Excellent DF Generator Invertor

This is a very tight and quiet unit. Currently in the break in period, but all is going well so far. Impressed with the size and sound, Bought primarily to charge trolling motor batteries and whatever other small to medium electric needs i may have when away from a wall outlet. I wanted dual fuel, parallel capability, and RV plug to future proof this purchase. Does not have (i don't need) a 12V plug. I researched competitors in this size range until i was dizzy, but this unit kept coming to the top for my current and future needs.

Features are exactly what I was looking for.

This was my first purchase of a generator and could not be more pleased with the selection and performance along with a very reasonable price. Easy to follow the user's manual which is very thorough, excellent lay-out of controls with simple receptacle connections for my fridge, lights etc. Exterior appears to be durable for moving, traveling and storage.

Great for power outages...

We were able to connect a freezer, refrigerator, tv, internet, security system, and a fan. Got us through two days without power. Started on the first pull and ran quiet through the night. I loved the digital display for the fuel amount. Saves the guesswork of wondering how much fuel is remaining.

Suprisingly Good

Just received the Igen2500, added oil and gas, then went to start it and it started first pull. runs smooth and quiet, then hooked it up to my R-POD with a 13500btu air conditioner, ran a/c no problem, running around 1400-1500 watts steady. tried it on another rv with a different brand a/c same results. Love the LED data display. So far very happy!
