I haven't had the chance to use this during an actual outage yet, but while testing it during the break in period I was able to determine this generator is extremely quiet. It also has a great LED display which illustrates how much gas you have left and how much power is being used at any given time. Additionally, the amount of wattage this generator puts out will essentially allow you to power the essentials. I was able to power my router, cable modem, 2 TVs, 2 computers, 2 ceiling fans, and a refrigerator with power left over for other devices.

I bought a factory refurbished unit, so my expectations were tempered. The pull start pulls rather easily. However, on gasoline it takes me a number of tries to get it to start. It seems even more difficult to cold start on propane. But once it's started, on either fuel, it runs nicely and fairly quiet too in Eco mode under light load. The led panel lights are a nice touch.

We needed something suitable for limited dry camping in order to power a couple of key appliances and charge the house batteries. This fit the bill perfectly. We can use our trailer propane and don't have to haul around gas cans. The unit arrived in great condition. The instructions were clear and operation is straightforward. It connects to our trailer's 30A receptacle and provides just the amount of power we need. And it's quiet. Hefty, but not to heavy. Looking forward to many years of use. Great product!

I purchased a IGEN2550 on 10/06/24 for emg home power. This product appeared to meet my needs at 1900 watts. The unit is compact and not to heavy. Has good readout information, easy pull and starting, fuel consumption good. Manual book very good. I have run it thru 5 hour breakin with no issues.I am happy with purchase. Thank you for the generator cover bonus. CFH

I bought this small inverter generator to power a camper because of the RV receptacle and the dual fuel feature. Runs great, powers my RV appropriately and even handles the A/C unit. It arrived with every I needed to get it up and running quickly and it is very quiet.

I am a retired electrician and have been around generators my entire career. I am quite pleased with the design features of the unit - down to the little things like oil and fuel catches. I am confident that the quality and durability will be consistent with the great functional design.

It started easily right out of the box. It easily ran a full sized refrigerator/freezer, multiple lights, and charged several devices all at the same time. It could have handled a heavier load. Running on propane it produced almost zero fumes and ran for many hours on just 1/2 bottle propane. It is very quiet, almost as quiet as my neighbor's Honda that cost much much more. I'm thinking about buying a second one to hook to this one for the next hurricane. Light weight and easy to handle. Highly recommend it.

Great decision, the generator came in excellent packaging very professional. It has all of the features we wanted, rugged design multiple outputs, excellent maintainability, useful documentation. Overall an excellent purchase for the price! Weight may be an issue with me (as I am 84 years old) but so far I am able to load into our SUV.

my first generator i ever purchased for my home and camper. I wanted a dual generator, and this one is perfect for my needs and does what i need from a generator. I like that uses two fuels and i bought at great price. All in all its a great generator

I've had this igen2550 inverter generator for about 3 weeks now. And it works great. Does everything i need it to do. And runs very smoothly. Holds a little over 1gal of gas and will run for me about 8 to 10 hrs on eco mode with approximately a 50% load. I'm very satisfied with this product.
