I bought this because of an extended power outage in our neighborhood causing our sump pump to go out--thereby flooding our basement. Now we are prepared. This generator was easy to set up. It started on the first pull of the starter! Pretty quiet and easy to move around. We have tested it with numerous appliances and all work great. I will be using it not only for emergencies but also for portable power around the yard.

This 2,550W dual fuel generator stopped working after just a few uses. Won’t start on propane or gas, recoil is stuck, and it makes a loud rattling noise. Smells like fuel and feels unsafe to run. Clearly defective. I need a replacement unit ASAP—this one isn’t usable and shouldn't have to be returned in this condition.

This is our second Westinghouse Generator. When we purchased a travel trailer, we knew our first purchase needed to be a small generator. Westinghouse generator served us well at home, why not on the road? Hoping to get many on road miles using our new purchase!

This is a great generator. Very easy to set up and use. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I live in Denver and there is a high-altitude converter kit that will be very helpful. The generator is very quiet (quieter than I thought it would be).

Excellent little generator that helped us out during a multi-day power outage. This was our first generator/inverter, so it took some trial and error in finding a place on our back porch to let the machine get enough air flow, and stop the CO sensor from turning it off.

This generator came in time after experiencing almost two months without any electricity or water after hurricane Maria destroyed most of Puerto Rico. Not only has it been giving us some extra comfort with powering or essential house appliances like our fridge and fans, but it has been great on the gas economy and a low noise profile. Thanks again for such a great product.

The unit seems like it is put together well. I like the features and the price point. One problem though. My unit will not shut off with the selector switch. It came like this new out of the box, which was disappointing. I have to wait for the fuel line to run out of fuel before the unit will shut off. The warranty department has been prompt and helpful. The closest service center is a half hour away, which isn't great. Hopefully this will be the only issue.

Received the generator. Followed the quick start guide, added the supplied oil, added new gas, turned off ECO mode, turned vent cap on, set the choke, pulled about 20 times on the recoil pull cord. No start. Did not turn over. Set to run and everywhere in-between and kept pulling the recoil cord but engine would not turn over at all. Checked the spark plug. Appeared fine but completely dry. Drained the fuel out of the carburetor, appeared the fuel was getting from the tank to the carburetor. Opened the carburetor, ran compressed air thru the fuel injector. Put back together and refueled. Still could not get to turn on. Opened the front panel. A two-wire black and red connector was disconnected but did not appear to attach to anything upon inspection. Everything else appeared fine. Put front panel back on. I think I got a lemon. I'm going to try Westinghouse support and see where I get.

Packaging was good, Label indicates its built in Vietnam FYI. Fit and finish seem good. Initial start was done on propane, took quite a bit to get running, but was about 6c out. Once warmed up it ran smooth, and quiet. I kept small loads on it, varying ti for an hour, then changed the oil. Next will be more running on fresh oil and slowly increasing loads, for a several oil changes.

I bought this generator after research and a friends suggestion. Used it at a Rock the Country concert in Kentucky for a long weekend. We were in the no powered RV lot, and I bought this generator for that purpose (RV use). Worked like a charm! love the light weight, power output and most importantly, the dual fuel engine! I do not have to carry gas cans in my RV/truck when camping. The plan is actually to not even put gas in it. Used it all weekend on LP. Very quiet unit. Highly recommend this unit!!
