Powerful and quiet. Exactly what I wanted.

I recently went camping with my RV and had two dead batteries because of my own stupidity upon arrival. I fired up my generator the next morning and just about woke up any living creature within 500 yards. I knew right then I needed an inverter generator. After doing my research i was all set and ready to buy a honda eu2200i. Then I saw a video about Westinghouse generators and was intrigued. The noise and weight of the 2500 was similar to the Honda but at nearly half the price. i bought the iGen2500 and guess what, the iGen2500 powers my 15000 BTU AC unit no problem. Now I have a light weight quiet generator that is a powerhouse. I am so glad I bought this and highly recommend it. Started with one pull straight out of the box too. Buy one and try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Relatively quiet, very easy to start

Generator used as emergency power for aquarium. Starts on first pull and is quiet with small load. Gets louder than expected with heavy loads but might be true with all portable generators. Biggest gripe is fuel gauge and remaining run time are very inaccurate.

Tailgate Terrific

I bought this to use in place of a larger unit I have. This unit has all of the features I need for setting up for our tailgate events. The units overall weight was a big factor along with the other features. I had the chance to use the unit for a full six hour run and the unit never skipped a beat. The only draw back is the fuel shut off feature and fuel cap on/off feature is not working properly. The unit still runs in the off position. The unit will shut off when turned to the full off position.

Great little generator

Used this on a few camping trips so far and it has been nothing but excellent. I do recommend you change the oil 4 times during the break in period so it is clean of metal shavings and set for a long run life. Super quite and sips on gas. starts on every first pull after break in period and me and my wife just love it.

2500 Watts that I can easily pack anywhere needed

Bought this to use with my RV and as backup/emergency home power. So far works great. Starts right up and is quiet. I am not a scientist but give or take a db or two and it is as quiet as any others out there.....and at a GREAT price! So far I have used it on the RV and around the home. Sometimes it is just easier to grab this than to pull out extension cords for work out my large yard.

Best I have seen

I bought two of these iGen2550 Generators for my Travel Trailer. Would have preferred one bigger one however after two back surgeries I am limited on how much I can lift. After doing much research, I think these are the best and here's why. First off, they run in parallel with out having to purchase and hook up a separate device. They both came with parallel wires at no extra cost. They each have a full 30 amp. Trailer Plug In. So, no need for an adapter. They are very lightweight. I can carry both at the same time (if needed) I usually carry one at a time with no problem. They have a plastic screw in funnel to fill the oil tank (others are hard to fill or top off without spilling a mess) used and replace oil with out spilling a drop. They come with the exact amount of oil needed (no need to carefully measure) They have one knob to turn for starting, running and shutting down. They made the outside in a way the handle lays flat in a formed spot on the side panel. The dashboard is bright and shows amount of fuel level by just looking at the control panel. Both started quickly and ran perfect. I use them in parallel so I can run my Air Conditioner in my Trailer. I just spent six weeks traveling Florida and used them frequently. They each come with a tool kit and everything needed to start using. I would definitely buy them again. I gave them 4 Star because I wish they had wheels, however they are light enough to not really need them.

Great Value

This is the second iGen2500 I have purchased. I was hoping one would run the air conditioner on my camp trailer but it wouldn't do it. It apparently will need two of these units. I also purchased the parallel cord. These units run a lot quieter than my old Coleman generator but they are still a bit louder than Honda. For the price difference it is plenty quiet. Has nice features and runs a long time on a tank of gas. We camped for four days at 7000 feet and it ran everything except the air conditioner. Westinghouse makes a high altitude kit that I'm trying to find and will install in both generators because I live at 4000 feet and most use will be above this elevation.

Nice Little Inverter Generator Unit For The Price.

I bought this generator for my Nucamp 320 camper. Not only is it light weight I can menuver it anywhere. it is one of the quieter generators I have had. Easy on gas too. I'm happy it comes with a 30 amp outlet. It can handle any appliances I need as long I stay under 1800 watts

Happy Camper

I went camping for the very 1st time on a primate site. All other times have been on sites with water & electricity hookup. I'm very happy with the purchase. I typically don't reserve primate sites but if I do in the future I'll have this if I need it.

First time generator user - super easy to setup and start

I have never used a generator before. I wanted the family to be prepared for any power outages during hurricane season or the typical winter ice storm in NC. The iGen 2500 was super easy to set up, came with its own oil and funnel, I just needed to add gas. It started right up without any issues. I bought the iGen 2500 because I wanted to be able to easily - at a glance - know how much fuel I had remaining. The digital display of time remaining, fuel remaining, and power usage are AWESOME. Why doesn't every generator come with that feature - thanks Westinghouse!
