Unit arrived in great shape and on time from AP Electric. Added oil as directed, filled with Clear Unleaded Premium fuel. Unit started on first pull. As a test I let the unit run for 20 minutes or so powering a 1200 watt toaster oven. Not the most scientific test, but I just wanted to see the unit work. So far so good. Time will tell as I use the unit over the summer.

Great product at an awesome price. It runs well and is lightweight with low noise level. Followed the simple start-up guide and ran for over an hour the first time. I charged portable battery generators for camping. In ECO mode you can hear the idle down (or up) depending how much power you are pulling. Exactly what I was looking for and looking forward to using for camping!

I bought this recently and still in the recommended break-in period. So far all is well. This generator was well packed and all supplied information is clear. It also came with a few accessories plus the oil for the first fill. I like the information center on this unit as my other generator does not have such a feature. This unit has a bit more output too. 20amp circuit compared to 15amp circuit on similar sized models.

I have had a iGen2200 since around 2018 and decided to order another, the 2550 Dual Fuel because from my experience with the 2200, they are awesome. Being dual fuel is a plus as well. Use my older 2200 all the time for random projects. Just went through Hurricane Milton and lost power for a few days. Used the 2200 to run a small window A/C unit, a deep freezer, small little fridge, and TV. Ran constantly for 3 days flawlessly. Saved us for sure. Thus, upgrading and purchasing the 2550 for us was a no brainer. The newer 2550 has all the outlets and buttons covered from moisture and is designed great with easy access to all the areas for maintenance. I havent had a chance to use this newer 2550, but from my experience with the 2200, we are going to love it!

Bought generator to run Winnebago Roam Class B RV - AC and electrical load runs about 1400 demand - generator has been tested twice for over 5 hours with load running 1400 to 1900. Both times generator went to overload within 10 min so not sure yet why but kept running and after reset button pressed, operated without issue for remaining time. Downside is that the propane and gas does not switch automatically if one runs out. I have the WEN 4500 dual fuel inverter generator and it switches automatically from one to the other in case you run out of one in the middle of the night. The big plus is that this generator weighs less than 50 lbs and used less than a gallon of gas running overnight. Also this generator has nice bright lights on the panel. So, 4 stars for me. Put in the auto switch between fuels and it would be a solid 5 stars. Would recommend given my limited one week of experience.

I bought this inverter to power my camp trailer and charge batteries. This has enough power to run my AC unit on my trailer. Quiet running (actually I thought it would be quieter) but when you walk 10 feet away you kinda forget its running. Easy to start and operate. Very fuel efficient, I ran on encono mode most of the summer.

There are some things I like this 2550C better than the other small inverter generators. Has LED lights to light up control board, access panels require no screws to remove and both sides have access panels, bigger dipstick handle to make removal easier, clear vent line for draining float bowl, selector switch to turn off fuel and run all the gas out of the carb, and rubber flat top to store stuff on. Only downside which isn't for me is that the fuel cap vent has to be open and closed manually and has slightly less power output. Not sure if this is the newest version or the other style WH has is replacing this but I like this style and features than other WH style with slightly more power.

This is a great generator. I have 2 smaller Westinghouse 2200 watt generators that I purchased 7 and 5 years ago that I use for camping and can run them in parallel they are great and still running strong after a lot of use. This one runs great as well and having the ability to run on either gas or propane is great. I anticipate many years of use.
