I was looking for a great generator that was quiet for the campgrounds I stay in. This item is whisper quiet at 52db sound level. Definately one of the most quiet generators I've used. Still in the break in period, but so far, I am loving the simplicity. Fired up on 2nd Pull!

This iGen2550 came nicely packaged, Followed the easy to read manual, started on 2nd pull, nice design & easy to handle, quiet and smooth, love the lighted LED panel .I'll mount it on the back of my golf cart/workhorse to run a electric chain saw & pole saw on the estate trees and bushes .I hope to get many years of service. I got 30 yrs or service out of my Coleman Powermate 1000 before the governor went south last week. Time will tell. Good Job Westinghouse

Despite my husband's insistence on buying a new generator and me nagging him incessantly to test it out to make sure it worked before it was too late to return it, he waited 6 months to do so. When he had no luck starting it, I was not happy for the above reason. After some troubleshooting without luck, I suggested he try our grill propane tank vs. the large one in our yard, just in case there was a problem with it (as we rarely use it). That worked, thankfully so we are relieved. We have not tried it with gasoline, but appreciate the versatility. Hurricane season is coming and now we are ready. It is common to lose power so this will come in handy to power a fridge and some fans. Once our large propane tank is refilled or fixed, we will be in good shape for maximizing how long it will last before running out of fuel. We also bought the umbrella shade to go with this. We had bad luck with our last gasoline generator of a different brand. This one has good reviews so I am hoping it lasts.

Generator used as emergency power for aquarium. Starts on first pull and is quiet with small load. Gets louder than expected with heavy loads but might be true with all portable generators. Biggest gripe is fuel gauge and remaining run time are very inaccurate.

I'm a residential home builder and was looking for a small generator to mainly charge batteries on the days we are not using our larger generator so as to save on gas & wear &t tear. This one got great reviews. Runs my chargers in ECO mode. Very pleased with this purchase, I spent a little more to get better quality and power than other brands. Feel it was well worth it.

One initial little problem. I removed the cover to put the oil in, and a retaining slip ring simply fell out! The retaining ring (or washer) is supposed to protect the cover screws from falling out. I replaced it with one that I had that fit better and will not fall out. So, that was a rough into, and I hoped nothing else was wrong. I was actually surprised that it started on the very first half-hearted pull. I didn't even pull hard and it started right up. Now on the big test. I purchased the iGen2500 hoping it could handle the load of my 10,000btu marine air conditioner. And it did! I noticed that voltage dropped to around 95 or 100v just for a sec during initial compressor cranking, but it did not trip! Tried with eco on and off, and it did not trip. turned on my wife's double fan and did it again...did not trip! The boat air conditioner runs just fine with this generator. Wish it had a little bigger gas tank, but the one it has is adequate. Quiet running...might be a bit louder that the smaller Honda, but certainly acceptable given the fact that the iGen2500 is substantially more powerful. The status LED's are a nice feature...can see relative fuel and load from a distance. Can't do that with most other models. So, overall, I am very pleased and aside from the initial washer problem, and my preference for a larger fuel tank, I am delighted. I did my research, and it seems to me that there is a good warranty/service program available should I ever need it. I rate this 4 1/2 stars....If I had to do it over, would not hesitate to purchase again.

We have tried other generators and this one does the job. Easy to operate, and the features are great. The gauge is very helpful in knowing the status of the machine at all times. Lightweight, we were impressed with how quiet it is, started first pull out of the box and every time so far. Look forward to many years of use. My wife is able to start it and operate it !!

Very silent, easy setup and small size. An inverter generator is the perfect solution for reliable, clean, and quiet power. Unlike traditional generators, it produces stable electricity that's safe for sensitive devices like laptops, phones, and TVs. It's fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly, and surprisingly quiet — ideal for camping, home backup, or job sites. Compact, portable, and easy to use, an inverter generator brings peace of mind wherever you need power

We like everything about this generator except that it doesn't have a gauge showing fuel/ time remaining like the 2550c model. The propane ports are in place of the gauge. It would be nice to have both. Not a deal breaker. It works as expected, and it's nice to have the propane and gas options to run it.

After pre operation routine the unit started on the second pull and ran smoothly. It runs all appliances etc. in my camper including the air conditioner. the weight is quite manageable. The sound level isn't bad but could be quieter, ala Honda. Overall I am quite happy, would recommend to others.
