Purchased a few days ago and it started right up after prep and has performed as advertised. I purchased this unit for our RV (as it has the 30amp outlet) and it does everything I would expect a unit of this size (wattage output) to do even on propane. It is light (43lbs) to move around and store and I particularly like the dual fuel option as I can run it from my RV tanks if I don't want to carry gasoline!

Lost power after a tree limb ripped the power lines off our house. Normally wouldn't be a problem except the spring thaw and rain from the previous day was flowing in my basement, so I needed the sump pumps running. Picked up the igen2550 once the store was open, had it running within minutes and saved us from a flooded basement.

My iGen2500 was part of a recall program. Westinghouse stepped right up and within a month had a new unit shipped to me even before they got the original unit returned. Very impressive and responsive company. I would highly recommend Westinghouse generators!

JUST UNBOXED IT A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO AND AM PLEASANTLY PLEASED WITH THE ENTIRE PRODUCT....I PURCHASED IT FOR TWO REASONS....FIRST....TO RUN THE A/C ON MY RV.....WHICH IT HANDLED WITH EASE... THE SECOND REASON WAS BECAUSE IT WAS BILLED AS HAVING A 3 YEAR WARRANTY...........I WAS DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT I SHOULD HAVE READ WITH MORE ATTENTION AS THE THREE YEAR PART ONLY PERTAINED TO PARTS.....MY HOPE IS THAT IT IS WELL MANUFACTURED TO THE POINT THAT I WON'T NEED ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS........

Perfect for our needs. It is lightweight, easy to operate, quiet, and very powerful. We use it for camping, so portability is very important. The displays on the generator make it easy to understand how much energy you're using, how much fuel you have left, etc...

Just received the unit and just did the quick start procedure. Everything seems to be operating according to my expectations. I love the fact that it's lite weight and still powerful enough to get the job done. Looking forward to years of great service.

Excellent little generator that helped us out during a multi-day power outage. This was our first generator/inverter, so it took some trial and error in finding a place on our back porch to let the machine get enough air flow, and stop the CO sensor from turning it off.

Ordered the Westinghouse iGEN2550c and received it quickly without delay or damage. Very well packaged. Instructions were very well written and was able to easily start up. This is a very quiet generator. I love the design, size and am pleased with how light it is. Very glad I purchased this!

I'm a residential home builder and was looking for a small generator to mainly charge batteries on the days we are not using our larger generator so as to save on gas & wear &t tear. This one got great reviews. Runs my chargers in ECO mode. Very pleased with this purchase, I spent a little more to get better quality and power than other brands. Feel it was well worth it.

This inverter generator offers a good balance between value and performance, perfect for homeowners. It is compact and lightweight, yet powerful. Because I purchased it when the power was already out, I had to read the instructions with a flashlight. Fortunately, it was pretty straightforward to set up and run. The package included a bottle of oil, so I only needed 1.5 gallons of gasoline. The engine started after only 2 light pulls, and then ran smoothly and quietly. I could barely hear it inside the house when the doors were closed. I used it to run a full-size refrigerator and a large chest freezer, plus the occasional use of an induction cooktop (because we have no gas appliances in the house). The engine never felt strained, only ramped up when the compressors kicked in. The multi-functional display provides lots of information and it is 'fun' to cycle and watch each function. I am very confident we can rely on this unit if and when we have another power outage in the future and all the frozen foods will be safe.
