Second Westinghouse generator

After being so satisfied with our 4500df we opted to purchase this second Westinghouse 2550df for the versatility that it offers. It's lighter than we thought it would be which is great and the dual fuel feature is awesome. Currently breaking it in on propane and it's running perfectly as expected.

Decent Generator (Should come with a cover, though!)

Just unboxed my new iGen2500 today, so too early to give a rave review. While it started on the first pull, the generator ran a bit rough with a frequent miss. Ran to the hardware store and picked up comparable NKG plugs to replace the Torch plug it came with, and noticed some improvement after switching them out. It runs pretty quiet--- good thing, as I intend to use it on my sail boat at anchor. It really should have come with a cover, though....

Perfect power for my new Lance Trailer

I needed off the grid power to run my microwave and AC for occasional boondocking nights in our RV. I'm running this unit in tandem with another iGen2000 unit to enable operation at fairly high altitude locations. So far my 9.2 btu AC unit has cycled like a champ at 8100ft elev. with the two gens set to quiet mode. Thats pretty impressive.

Works as advertised

Lightweight. Runs everything I need at off grid cabin. Runs power tools for cabin construction. Seems to always take 5 pulls to startup. I also have a Honda, and it starts one pull everytime no longer how long it sits. For the price difference 4 extra pulls worth it. Eco mode saves fuel if minimum power needed. Very happy with this product.

Looks Good

I bought this last summer for my RV and was a bit disappointed that it will not power my AC. I did some research and was sure it had enough power but it doesn't. I have not really used this other than to check to see if it would power the AC. It does run quiet and has enough power to do anything else I need on the RV.

Very Happy with this Generator

I just received this generator yesterday, filled it with oil and gas and fired right up. It starts first pull, looks like good quality but still light weight. The pop off panels make it easy to access maintenance areas. I'm still breaking it in but it's a good little unit so far and not very loud.

Perfect Generator

I bought this to run power tools on jobsites and it runs everything I need it to. It starts on the first pull every time and is amazingly quite. I have used it for a 12" miter saw, and a 10" table saw so I know it will be there when I need it for smaller tools as well. Quite is a total understatement!! I have never used another brand and can't figure out any reason to.

So Far so Good

I bought the generator to use with my RV camper and it arrived just in time for a March 2 Nor'easter in PA where I lost house power for 2 days. After adding oil and gas, it started on first pull. It is quiet at 25% load or less but much more noticeable above that. I have no previous experience with other inverter generators to compare noise levels though. I ran it 20 hours and changed oil. Oil was moderately dirty, nothing I took exception to. Added Mobil 1 oil and ran another 8 hours with no issue. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Awesome Generator

This is a great generator. Very easy to set up and use. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I live in Denver and there is a high-altitude converter kit that will be very helpful. The generator is very quiet (quieter than I thought it would be).

So far so good

After reading many reviews and talking with friends who have RVs; decided to go with the iGen2550DFc. Just got it today. Ran it for a little while just to load test it. Seems to work fine. Much quieter than our 1999 Coleman 5500 Generator and easier to handle! I do wish it had an hour meter for maintenance.
