Hey, Westernhouse nailed this one! I can't tell you how much I enjoy the Igen2600. I purchased the Igen2600 for my work trailer. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable the noise level was, and then fuel efficiency is amazing.I can run my Igen2600 all day on one gallon of gas with the power to run any hand tools that I might be using.. And it starts every time on the first pull. I totally recommend this unit.

Inverter? Check! 30-amp plug-in? Check! Dual Fuel? Check! Quality build, well-written instructions, started on first pull on propane? Check! Check! Check! This is the perfect inverter-generator for my RV as well as basic backup for the house. Couldn't be happier!

I really like the design. The information panel sets this apart from the competition. The idle feature is nice and the machine is quiet. two down sides that are not deal breakers: 1. difficult to fill with oil, easy to spill oil. 2. no fuel shutoff or tank drain. overall very satisfied.

Arrived 3 weeks late but I guess that can be expected because of the hurricanes this year causing high demand. Added oil and non-ethanol gas, choked and it started first pull! I have had a Honda 2000 for over 13 years that still runs great but needed more power for AC on my RV. It runs as quiet as my Honda but time will tell about the reliability of the unit. First impression is I am very happy with this purchase.

My son bought two of these after much research. He uses them in tandem to power an arch-welder and all of his power tools in his 20 ft long trailer workshop; and he is quite satisfied. For me, I own a Lance camper and travel for a living, and sometimes I am away for months at a time. I needed a portable generator that would power everything in the camper, including my ham radio equipment, my laptop, and, especially, the air conditioning; though the air conditioning pretty much maxes it out, so I probably won't be able to run the ham radio at full power while running the air conditioning on high. This generator fills the bill. It is much quieter and lighter (about ten pounds lighter) than the old Kawasaki 1400, which couldn't handle the air conditioning, anyway. Three cheers for Westinghouse!

I bought this based on price and features as a backup for my RV. Although the quick start information wasn't packaged in the box as it is supposed to be, the owners manual helped me get it started. It started and ran fine but I haven't really used it under load. I struggled getting it registered since the address Westinghouse provides simply dumps you into their website and without a dropdown for registration, you have to look all over for the registration page.

I have 2 of these. They run fine once you get them to start. Starting is difficult and most of the time requires deviation from the stated process. Both units do not turn off according to the manual instructions. You should cut the gas off and let it stop running. Both of mine will run for hours at like this. You have to end up turning it completely off. I had one of my 2 units replaced under warranty. Received an open box with no oil and still gas in the tank. My neighbor has the iGen2800 and i would recommend that version as it starts and shuts off differently. Once running, it runs great and is quiet. I own 4 generators (thus I am familiar with how to run and maintain. I am meticulous on the break-in and oil changes etc.

After Helene, I decided to purchase a generator. It had to be light enough for me to carry and easy to start. This generator is just as powerful as heavier generators that require three times the fuel but have the same run time! Definitely a game changer.

I purchased this for three reasons, first to power my truck camper with when camping, second to tailgate with at Raiders games, and third in case of a power outage at home. I purchased this one specifically because of the dual fuel (Only really plan on running on propane so the carb is easily maintained) and because of the the 30 amp RV plug in. The generator fired right up on propane after following the directions and purging the lines. So far it has not missed a beat.

In researching 2500 Watt Inverter Generator's, I found Westinghouse iGen2550 inverter generator the best value with great features for the cost. I will use the generator for my RV, one deciding factor was to 30AMP plug, so I don't need an adapter to plug in my trailer. The 1800 Running watts on gas will operate all features on the RV including my AC. I'd recommend this generator to anyone. It's the best value and features on the market tday!
