Tested with toaster + microwave. Adding coffee maker at the same did exceed the iGen2500 max rating. Unplugged the coffee maker and pushed the iGen's reset button. Restored full function without fuss. This unit to be used only in case of prolonged power outage mainly to keep the food in the fridge frozen/cold. And miscellaneous other low power necessities. Feel I made a good choice. After my new purchase test, I followed the supplied instructions for prolonged storage. Pumped out the tank. Then started and ran until completely dry. Then drained the float bowl. Put a squirt of motor oil in the cylinder and pulled the cord a few times. Good to go when the emergency comes!

I wanted a lightweight solution to run my RV AC, and after extensive generator research I decided to install a Micro Air 364 soft starter for my 15,000 BTU RV AC. I purchased the iGen2500 due to other reviews as well as a recommendation from Micro Air. I received the generator, filled the oil and gas and it fired right up after 2 pulls. I then decided to put it to the test with the RV AC system. Plugged the RV into the generator and the A?C fired right up. I ran it for an hour or so and the generator performed awesome. So, if you are looking for a small lightweight generator to run your 15k BTU AC, go get the soft starter 364 and the Westinghouse iGen2500.

Love the color, the power, it runs quiet. Moving from a Honda 2000 to the iGen 2500 Westinghouse was a bit of a change for me. I am so glad I did, this has more power, runs just as quiet and it only weighs 48 lbs, this to me is a superior generator. I am sold on the iGen 2500. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I bought the inverter Gen for traveling from Michigan to Texas, with a camper, was going to stop at rest stops or other stores that let you spend the night while on the road with a travel trailer, wanted something light weight and easy to handle and quiet to use at night. it work out great, the only problem I have had with it the unit will not shut down by turning off the fuel like the owners manual say how to shut down, I would buy it again, I like that it has a 30 amp plug for the camper. it did work great for the trip and now I also have it to use at home and more boondocking trips

I went camping for the very 1st time on a primate site. All other times have been on sites with water & electricity hookup. I'm very happy with the purchase. I typically don't reserve primate sites but if I do in the future I'll have this if I need it.

Design and engineering are excellent. Unit starts easily, runs quietly and powers all the equipment I use at the race track. The threaded fuel funnel is a nice accessory that makes fueling easy and spill free. I highly recommend this Inverter Generator.

Just purchased for a power supply to charge batteries when camping. Like the size and weight and that we can use LP rather than having to carry gas. Had a little issue getting it started at first then pulled the spark plug to check the gap. The gap setting was off. Once adjusted, the unit ran fine. Gap setting was reason for 4 stars. Pleased with how quiet the unit runs as well.

This model was suited for my application as a backup for specific appliances with electronics inside: it was light enough to carry easily, used propane, had variable speeds so it is likely to run overnight without needing refueling, and it was made by (for?) a reputable brand. It was expensive compared to some less familiar brands, but in an emergency I do not want to risk using unreliable equipment: portable generators are dangerous enough when they work properly!

Thankfully, I haven't had to use this generator for any outages yet. However, it is easy to operate and started right up. It is quieter than I expected, especially on ECO mode. So far, everything about this generator meets my expectations. This is a nice size if you want to easily transport with one person.

I really like this generator, easy to transport, starts easy and very quiet. I had an older coleman generator 2250 watts and it struggled with a circular saw and running a light. I ran a water well pump several lights and a circular saw and this iGen 2500 had no problems what so ever running these all at the same time. Great product !
