Started After First Pull

Unit arrived in great shape and on time from AP Electric. Added oil as directed, filled with Clear Unleaded Premium fuel. Unit started on first pull. As a test I let the unit run for 20 minutes or so powering a 1200 watt toaster oven. Not the most scientific test, but I just wanted to see the unit work. So far so good. Time will tell as I use the unit over the summer.

Easily starts RV A/C equipped with Micro Air EasyStart 364

I purchased this generator to run the A/C on desert camping trips. I installed a Micro Air EasyStart 364 onto an older Coleman Mach 3 unit. The A/C starts easily on the ECO setting, and runs the A/C at around 1/2 load on the generator. For testing, once the A/C was running, I was able to start the microwave and it worked without complaint. I did not test the voltage reading for accuracy, but it corresponded with the meter inside the trailer, and even under load, the voltage stayed about 120-122 volts. Although this unit does make a bit more noise under load, it is definitely nowhere near a 3600rpm generator. Inside, with the A/C on, the generator was barely perceptible. With the A/C off, the engine idled down and is rather quiet when not under load. I am very pleased with this generator.

A Solid Purchase!

I received the iGen2600 exactly as described. Added oil and gas, started on first pull. Went through the break-in process and all is working great. This generator runs RV camper lights, tv, fridge and small air-conditioner with no problem or lack of power. Quiet as described, a great camping generator. Lightweight and easy to carry with one hand. Quite a bit of research went into this buy and so far it is a solid purchase.

Worked as it should right out of box

I bought this generator for our RV when we go dry camping. Received my generator added oil that was supplied, added gas and the generator started up after 5 pulls on the chord. I let it run for about 1/2 hour. Later I started it with one pull and attached our RV and it worked fine everything ran including the AC. The next day started with one pull hooked RV up and everything still ran fine. I haven't had it long enough to really give it a good work out but will be using it on the RV the next camping trip.

Light and good

I bought this product in 2024 and have not used it until a couple of months ago when we had a power outage. The generator was a little difficult to start up. I found that I had to manipulate the choke and pull several times to finally get it started. After starting it did the job.

Rescued in a Time of Need

The Westinghouse i2550 bailed us out “literally” when our power went out early one morning. I scrambled to get a generator to power our sump pump to prevent our basement from flooding. At 6:20am I picked the pump up at our local diy store and rushed home to get it up and running as the water was rising in our sump crock. I unpacked the unit read through the quick start instructions and had the unit running in 10 minutes. I connected it to our pumps and it works great. Although we only needed for a couple hours it is nice to have peace of mind that we have insurance for the future should this happen again. Now that we have the unit I have other ideas to power a pressure washer in the summer as well. I will get more use out of the unit than initially planned.

Garbage

We used it three times. It shut off while is was running on the third use and we have not been able to restart it. It was only 6 months old at the time. It has ethanol free gasoline with startron stabilizer. I tried a new spark plug. It won't even try to run. Menards won't help. The only suggestion I received was maybe the carburetor is bad and it's not covered. I can't find a pdf of the 3 year limited warranty to see what's actually covered.

Great Product so far

I brought this product for a camping trip, but plan to use it if we lose power at our home to power the refrigerator. Easy to set up, transport and use. On our camping trip we used it to blow up air mattresses, power a fan and a Keurig, and charge our phones. It worked great and was fairly quiet.

Nice little unit

I am happy with this purchase. I wanted a small, quiet and easy to use generate to run a few things at the cottage if my power went out. I also wanted one that was an inverter and dual fuel because I prefer to run off a propane tank, as propane tanks can also be used for the BBQ so the fuel doesn't go stale! This one does all of these well. It took me a little while to get it started for the first time but I was able to do so with propane. The trick for mine was to prime the propane with 4 presses, pull the recoil a couple times with the choke out, and then close the choke three-quarters, and pull the recoil a few more times. I've run it a few times now to break it in, totalling about 4 hours.

Easy to start and easy to use. Light weight and quiet.

First unit didn't function well. Les in Customer Service was very helpful and all is well. We "dry camp" a lot and use the generator to supplement our solar charging during rainy weeks like we just had and when 110v appliances are used like microwave and hair dryer.
