Tested with toaster + microwave. Adding coffee maker at the same did exceed the iGen2500 max rating. Unplugged the coffee maker and pushed the iGen's reset button. Restored full function without fuss. This unit to be used only in case of prolonged power outage mainly to keep the food in the fridge frozen/cold. And miscellaneous other low power necessities. Feel I made a good choice. After my new purchase test, I followed the supplied instructions for prolonged storage. Pumped out the tank. Then started and ran until completely dry. Then drained the float bowl. Put a squirt of motor oil in the cylinder and pulled the cord a few times. Good to go when the emergency comes!

After days of research and youtube videos, I made the decision to choose this inverter generator. All of my research seems to have paid off. After purchasing it today, I took it home and got started with the "Quick Start Guide." I filled the unit up with fresh non-ethanol gasoline. Nice looking unit I said to myself once I got it ready to start. The unit started up right away on the first pull. Quite quiet. I think this is going to be one of my best purchasing. It ran my dewalt 15 gallon, 5 amp air compressor at around a 75% rating of it's power output.

Bought this a couple of months ago as a more portable and compact power option for power outages and general power needs. It's been all I could hope for and more. It's a touch louder “in the wild” than I expected, but still easily can talk over it (per my watch, it's about 62dB). Fuel lasts a long time and plenty of power for my needs. Pretty easy to move around even when full of fuel. All in all, perfect for my needs.

I had to fidget with the carburetor the first few days. It would start run for 15 seconds and then shut down. I had loosen the screw for the overflow and gas was getting to the carburetor, but wasn't flowing through. Had to tap on the carburetor with the butt of my screwdriver as I think the float was stuck. Since then it is performing good. The other thing was I did call the support line claim:SC340071 and have not heard anything back and that was seven days ago. Lady on the phone was nice, but zero follow up. The start was frustrating, but since than it works very well for running the Ice House.

This is my second Westinghouse inverter generator. I bought this one for a lighter weight option. First generator is a 4500 and is much heavier. I've put it well through its pieces for the last three years with no issues. I'm hoping to have the same experience with this 2550. So far so good, and I love how quiet it is.

I bought this for tailgating. After a small hiccup and a break in period, it ran for the entire time we needed it. We ran a TV and a phone charger on it for 3.5 hours with no issues. I look forward to using it more and more! Very happy with it. We also helped a new dad power his baby bottle warmer with it!

I have had this generator for about 2 months.I use this for Camping. It has enough juice for our lights and Air Conditioner no problem.It is quiet. I went to a music festival that only allowed 56db and i never got that aweful knock during the night to turn it off.It is quieter then a generator. Great on Gas,I use seafoam every fillup i just get 5 Gallons of premium gas and mix the seafoam that way. The Led options are wonky as mine doesn't work correctly,but in no way does it affect the operation of the Genrator,Nor do I care about it! I have done the break in,i have changed my oil 4 times now. it runs like a dream!

I tested the generator and it works well and is as quiet as expected. It arrived on my front porch in an oil-soaked carton that was barely holding together. Luckily, there was no shipping damage to the unit. The oil bottle inside was fine, so I can only assume that the bottle in the carton stacked above it in the warehouse leaked down onto it.

After researching inverter generators for our camper the Westinghouse stood out as the leader of the pack. It is very compact which makes it easy to pack for our camping trips. It is light enough at 48lbs for my wife to be able to pick up and move it around. Most importantly it is powerful enough to start and run our 10.5 btu air conditioner in our pop up camper.

Has the power & all other options of Honda inverter, but much lower price. Good 3yr warranty. Easy to understand instructions. Best of all this generator is under 50Lbs and thus light enough for me to pick up by myself and put in trunk of a small car.
