Westinghouse 2550 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator with Recoil Start and Quiet Technology

I bought this generator a few weeks ago and am happy that I did. It's light quiet and will power a small RV. Two thumbs up!

Powers everything I need.  Was not sure if such a small generator would do the job, but this little gem does it in spades.  Very light weight also.

Great little power producer.

Been wanting to buy a generator like this for camping and other uses. It's lightweight, quiet, easy to start. I like that it has a gas gauge as well!

Light, quiet

Easy to set up and started after just a few pulls. I was impressed by how quiet it runs. Easy to lift into my truck bed.

SO FAR SO GOOD

I am very pleased with my igen2550, runs everything I need and is super portable compared to other generators at this price point.

This thing is a campers dream

Good for light use and to keep a couple fridges working and lights during a power outage. Starts on the first pull!

I purchased this from sams club on sale this inverter had great reviews and was recommended by a relative who purchased one last year

Great little inverter

Purchased this past November and so far it works great. Also nice an quiet and will be perfect for camping.

Nice Generator and Easy to Use

Have used multiple times. Starts easily. Low noise when running. Powers what I need. Not extremely heavy for a generator.

Lightweight dependable, easy start

In Puerto Rico we are without electric service and the generator has worked very well, economically and silently.

Easy to start and quite. Recomend

I wanted to run with propane, but tried many times and with two tanks, reconnecting, choke, no choke it wouldn't start.  Gas didn't seem to be coming out of the regulator. 

So next I tried with gas and it ran easily.  Except it stops.  Usually after 15 minutes to 4 hours.  I've now spent about 2 days and 2 tanks of gas.  First it seemed to stop only with eco. Then normal mode stopped.  I tried running with a loose cap to make sure there wasn't a vacuum problem, etc. Sometimes the low oil light came on and the unit quit right away.  The tech advised that too much oil could also be a problem and it took about 4 tries and 3 spills to get the oil level which rested right in the middle of the dip stick.  Ran great for 3 hours then ...  I'm on hold with service right now seeing if I can get an exchange or repair.  Unfortunately I bought on line so return is not an option. 

I have a 10k westinghouse than ran my whole house for 7 days after a bad storm here. I was hoping for better.

Miserable experience and 2 days wasted so far

Purchased this generator a few days ago, currently working on the break in process. So far so good though, the maintenance panels are easy to remove and oil changes are a breeze. It fired up the second pull and now starts with ease on the first pull. It runs quiet, I can reasonably carry on a conversation within 5 feet of it not in Ecomode. Happy to say the least, would definitely recommend it.
