Great value
We are enjoying this hot tub. Not the best hot tub I’ve owned but for the money this hot tub does the trick. Great entry level tub with lights and waterfall. Wished it had cup holders. Very pleased.
Good deal if it keeps working but dont count on it
I purchased this spa in June of 2019. I am 76 years old and use it for health reasons everyday. Spa has been good until yesterday when water dropped 8 inches for no reason. I called the company and they said that it had only 2 year warranty, so now I am stuck getting it repaired. My last spa I used for many many years without problems. I cannot understand how a spa just sitting there could start leaking and the company would not at least take some responsibility for it. I would not have purchased this knowing this and would not recommend it to anyone else.
Horrible Spa. Horrible Experience
I purchased the tub and had it delivered. I paid four men to move it into place and paid an electrician to hook it up. I filled it with water and the beauty took my breath away. I turned on the jets and the entire tub turned opaque orange. Opaque. I could not see the bottom of the tub. The orange was an older pumpkin orange. Dark Dark orange. I ran for the jets to shut them off and I could not. The control board was on, I could see the backlight but there were no buttons or boxes, it was a blank. I shut the tub off at the electrical box and the jets stopped. I emptied the tub in 30 degree weather here in Michigan in November and scrubbed out the orange stain with rags. I rinsed out the filter for what seemed like hours. It was the only one that I had. After great care cleaning the tub, I filled her back up with water. It was beautiful and the water was so clear. This time I took a video. I wish so much that I had done that the first time but I had no idea how bad this was going to go. I turned the tub on and the jets came on instantly and the orange started pouring out into the water again. I could not turn on the heater because the control panel still was not working. The water was more clear this time although still very very orange. I was forced to empty the tub once again and get it ready for a hard freeze overnight. When I emptied it, the stain was all over and not coming off so easy anymore. I added pictures of the 2nd time around. Not at all as bad as the first, but it gives you an idea of what I was dealing with. I had invested money in delivery and electrical and I still wanted a hot tub so I called Sam's Club to replace this tub. The manufacturer would not. They offered to send someone to clean it and to replace the control panel, but I was paying for a new tub and not a refurbished tub. They said that the orange was mold from the manufacturing process and I did not want a tub of mold. This was not my first spa purchase and I did not expect anything but a typical product. I wanted a product undamaged and in working condition. The manufacturer would not replace the tub. My only choice was return. I had to pay the electrician to unhook the tub and then pay the 4 men to move it back out to the road. I was out about a grand in just installation and uninstallation. Neither the manufacturer or Sams Club would help and neither would send another tub. I was very disappointed. Sam's Club said they were sorry. I am sorry too.
Best Value Spa - Period
I ordered the Lifesmart LS600DX spa in early June 2024 and I was notified by Sams Club a few days before the July 4 holiday that it was enroute. The parent corp of Lifesmart is Watkins Manufacturing, one of the biggest names in the spa industry. The shipping company that Watkins uses stinks and the shipping company's dispatch people were surly & unhelpful. BUT the driver showed up right on time and he & I unloaded the spa quickly & easily using their lift-gate. A few friends from work showed up and we used four 5ft pieces of 4" ID PVC pipe to act as rollers to move the spa into the backyard - I got the PVC pipe roller idea from previous helpful reviews on here - thank you!. The spa was heavily saran-wrapped in an upright position and stood on a long, flimsy wood pallet. Instead of moving it as-is vertically, we unwrapped the entire package and put the spa cover aside. THen we laid the spa down flat on top of a sheet of plywood laid on top of the four pipes and began rolling it thru my fence's wide boat-gate. I'd say the entire process took less than 30 minutes. We moved the spa into position onto a 9" thick reinforced concrete pad that I had a contractor make for me. THe 230v was already run out to the pad as I'd previously had it as service for two Cal-Spas I'd had consecutively. We moved the spa into position, I filled it with water and with the GFCI breaker off, I hooked up the wires to the spa pack inside the cabinet. I turned the power to ON and the spa fired right up, no problems. I gotta say that I was VERY impressed with Watkins's quality. Everything was well laid-out, easy to access. In contrast, the innards of the two CalSpas were cramped and poorly designed. PROS & CONS *tremendous value for not much money *construction is rotomolded, like a YETI cooler. That means ZERO wood in the construction that can rot, get eaten by termites, etc. *the rotomolded surface is not slick-smooth like an acrylic spa. That's a plus on the safety side, preventing slips & falls. * controls are easy to use, easy to program *for a single pump, it has very strong jets that can be adjusted by zone and air intake. *so far,,the only glitch was when I just this week in mid-September 2024 emptied the tub for it's quarterly draining, cleanout and refill. When I refilled the tub and turned the breaker back on, I could hear the motor running but no bubbles or water came out of the jets. But I came up with a simple solution - I assessed the problem as being an airlock. So I removed the filter, took the spray nozzle off my garden hose and shoved the hose full-blast all the way down into the pipe at the bottom of the filter area. Then I switched the power on. At first there were a couple bubbles from a few jets but in less than a minute there were more bubbles and then WHOOSH the jets were at full blast. Nothing was clogging it. It was simple airlock. If my trick hadn't worked I was fixing to call Customer Service. THey should include my hose trick in their troubleshooting section of the manual. Call it a Spa Enema or whatever, but it worked. *BUY THIS SPA - it's the fourth one Ive had. I have had a Dimension One, two Cal Spas and this is the best value by far. Dimension One is good too.

A great deal on a nice tub
I bought this after pricing similar hot tubs at my local dealers at about twice the price. This tub isn't quite as refined as the one's from the local dealer but it does have all the same features. I ordered it on a Monday and it was delivered the following week on Tuesday, I'm in Idaho and I expected it to take longer than that. It was quite a bit lighter than I expected although it seems solidly built. I was able to move it from the driveway to my backyard by sliding the pallet with just my wife and I, although an extra person would have been helpful. It wired up easily and there was no damage from shipping. The setup instructions were clear and included plenty of pictures. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. Everything works like it should. The listing isn't clear but it does have the "waterfall" and multi-color LED lights. There have been no leaks. You can only run about 1/2 the jets at a time, there is a valve to select which ones are running, but you can't run all of them at the same time. They are plenty powerful though. With the pump on high the big jets start to push you out of the seat! The listing says that the cabinet is Mahogany. It's not actually wood but a mahogany colored Polymer product kind of like Trex decking. I like it actually. I have had a couple of used tubs in the past that gave me fits so I decided to buy new this time and this was by far the best price I could find. I bought the 3 year extended warranty but after reading through it I realized that the manufacturer's warranty pretty much covers all the same stuff so I wouldn't recommend spending the extra money for the sam's club warranty. Bottom line is that I would recommend this tub. We have been using it every day and my wife and kids love it and I have nothing negative to say about it so far.
good tub at twice the price
this one is in a class by itself for only $2999. I’ve had this tub for 9 months and haven’t had a problem yet. It’s got a 2hp motor that pushes a FAIR amount of pressure to 65 jets. Lol. 65 jets. Turn the selector valve to change water flow and the pressure doubles to selected jets and decreases to others. There are two power settings on the pump. Jets are ingeniously placed to massage different parts of the body. One seat is for lower back, another for shoulders, another for neck pain, another for leg and arm pain. The waterfall is a superb neck massage. Included cover is well insulated. 104deg max temp, Shell is not smooth and it’s harder to clean the waterline than on glossy acrylic tubs. 280 gallon capacity is big enough for 4 big bodies or 7 smaller ones. It’s December 12 and I’m using it daily.
junk
I bought this and received on August 12, had an electrician connect it on the 14th. It worked for one day. It has had an error message of PRR since the 15th. I've called customer service for two weeks straight and they say a technician will call and schedule a time to come out... I would like to return this product because it's garbage and so is the customer service.
Our first spa. Great for the price
Purchased on sale in July of 2020. Delivered in September of 2020. Since it was our first spa purchase I did not want to spend much since I was not sure how much it would be used. We are delighted that it has been used almost daily. Most at night before bed. Perfect timing with the Pandemic as there was not much else to do. Fun on snowy nights. Great item for when the kids come home and visit. We use the cruise theory with this purchase. That being, the first time you cruise then go Carnival. You'll really enjoy it even though it's at the low end of cruises. So far this has worked well although we can envision what may be nicer on a higher end spa. It says it's a 7 person spa but that is if everyone is sitting straight up and don't mind touching each other. You can get three adults reclining without touching. Comfortable for four adults. It's usually just my wife and I so plenty of room. Spa Pros: - Price! - Jets are powerful. We usually turn them off after 5-10 minutes and just enjoy the warm water. - Works just great. Survived the winter with no issues. (Although it was a mild winter.) Spa Cons: (For the price these are not worth lowering the 5-star rating.) - Has a rough plastic like surface. I imagine the acrylic spas feel much nicer. - No real cup holders. (We just put tables on the sides for drinks.) - You have to move from driveway to final site and set up. This turned out to be easier than expected by rolling on top of PVC pipes. Nothing much to setup once in place. - No local support. No issues so far, but when we do.... In the meantime it's many YouTube videos to get the hang of operating and dealing with the chemicals. I see it's now listed for $3,300. That is still a great price. Go for it!

Cheaper Quality Yet We Would Buy Again
This is a cheaper quality hot tub, but we knew that going into it and would buy this again. It should last us a long while, I would suppose 10 years or more. For Colorado Winters we are paying about $40 - $50 a month more in electricity, though it is used multiple times daily. The inside is not smooth like a fiberglass/acrylic spa. It is textured much like the bottom of a fiberglass bathtub (lots of little bumps). We actually like this better as you don't slide around in it. However, cleaning may be a bit harder, but we actually like this texture better than the smooth glass finish one we had. The whole spa is one giant piece of continuous plastic. From what touches the concrete, up the sides, the tub and back down the sides and back to the ground. This one piece of plastic is then fitted with al the pipes/components, filled with foam, then a plastic wood panel screwed to the giant piece of plastic. Because it is one piece of plastic our has bowed out in the center of one side panel about 2". I have contacted customer support and they will only consider defective if bowed more than 4" which seems pretty excessive, but this is why it's cheaper. The jets run fine, not heaps of power, but enough. A very simple control panel which is actually nice. We did change the filtration cycles to filter twice a day for 1.5 hours. This would add to the electric bill, but the amount of use it needs it. Lastly the cover is adequate, not the best density foam, but not worth replacing as of yet. When the cover wears out we will replace with a better density insulation more suited for Colorado winters. We know we bought a cheaper tub and are satisfied with our order and would make it again. On a side note, our delivery guy backed his truck right into the back yard and dollied the hot tub right to where we wanted it. Your delivery guy may not be so accommodating, but asking and tipping never hurts, plus we had everything cleared and ready to make it quick.

Disappointed - not plug and play
Very disappointed that I had to hire an electrician to wire this unit up. The cost took away the savings from buying from a local store with free install. Then to my surprise no chemical starer kit. Not what I expected. It says in the delivery Member can include but is not limited to: Electrical work by a professional electrician. It should say REQUIRED. Which it does in the manual that comes with the unit. My last hot tub was plug and play and also came with chemicals. I guess I was expecting the same, esp from Sams.
