Great features!

Excellent 4K clarity and upscaling make even older, lower-resolution standard definition content look surprisingly crisp on a big 65-inch screen! Great for Gaming. The smooth responsiveness is perfect NO glitches over here! Great for sports and kids movies the brightness and contrast makes you feel like you're there. Great Uniformity.

Love Samsung products!

I got this Samsung for my bedroom, so it's not huge. It fits on top of a dresser, but it has a much better picture than my 55" LG that is in the livingroom. I keep hoping my LG will burn out so I can replace it with a 55" Samsung!!! My Samsung is much more responsive to connecting to WiFi, and the sound stays more consistent when commercials come on.

Awesome TV For the family and for watching Sports!

I love watching movies in 4K content. The picture is bright, the contrast is on point, the software responds fast! I do not have to connect any third party devices for streaming services since all of the popular streaming services come already loaded. This TV fits uniformly with my living room! This TV will blow you away on it's picture and sound Quality!

Amazing picture, sound is excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brightness is able to go down to the point where the screen is barely visible and goes up way past than im used to. I haven't messed with the contrast settings yet, so can't comment on its features or anything. I started to test the responsiveness of the system by pressing multiple buttons on the remote because my kids are young and they like to do extra stuff. Upscaling and uniformity is top teir.

Best TV I've ever bought

I love how responsive the TV is it's very quick all of its features . the clarity of the images on the TV is excellent it was easy to hang the TV up on the wall too because of how light it is and I confuse the picture clearly from any angle in my living room from the kitchen even from the hallway!

Nice new features

I really like this new TV. I like bright sharp pictures. I replaced my TV which suddenly stopped working but I was glad because this TV has a lot of new technology. Like blue tooth. Which was was not on the old TV. And the connection now to smart things on my phone.

Hdmi connection

The view itself is amazing. My electronics are mostly Samsung so I keep them all in the Samsung account. However, ive been having hdmi connection problems with this 2026 upgrade version. The hdmi is very seldomly detected. At times, I have to disconnect and reconnect to use the hdmi feature. The previous Samsung tv did not have that issue.

Enough with all the tech

They need to focus more on making tv’s to do tv things and less focus on spying on you. I can’t even figure out how to get antenna channels on it,too complicated.

Hi,

Thank you for your review. To setup your antenna, please follow the below steps:

1. First, make sure you have an antenna or a cable box already installed and set up to go. You may need to attach a coax cable to the antenna or box if it doesn't come with one.
2. When you're ready, connect the other end of the coax cable to the ANT IN port on the back of your TV.
3. Change the source on your TV to TV.
4. Once you are on the TV source, use the directional pad or arrow buttons on your remote to select Settings (All Settings).
5. Select Broadcasting, then Auto Program.
6. Select Start to begin. Then, select Air, Cable, or Both. Air is for antenna only, and Cable is for a cable box only.
7. Your TV will begin to scan for channels. After it's done, select Close to finish.

I hope this helps! If you need additional support, Samsung is here to help. Samsung's 55" U8000H is a Disappointment

An enormous lane of Samsung 55" TV's lined the entryway into Sam's, all with large price tags $257!!! My eager mind smelling a deal, ignored my usual process of doing due diligence. Sam's made it easy by leaving several of their large wheeled carts right there! With help from Sam's employees, discreetly stationed nearby, I hauled the gigantic box to my car and home. Unpacking was easy, re-hanging the VESA wall mount wasn't, but done with help. Pro: Specific video specifications are not seen on the box. Some quick research for this review shows 3840x2160p, definitely 4K with a nice refresh rate of 60Hz and using HDR (High Dynamic range) technology for deeper color depth. You should know that no TV station will squander their available bandwidth on 4K and instead will chop up available bandwidth into sub-channels re-running old TV shows. However, your Blu-ray DVD player should provide dazzling video. Live network TV might provide 1920-1080 which will make football games and other events look better if you are moving up from an older TV. Cons: As with most flat screen TV's, the sound is awful as it comes from the back of the set. A sound bar or larger surround system is recommended. Samsung's U8000 TV's utilize the Tizen engine to gather off-air and cable-connected programs and the remote controller for it really sucks. Physically, it's difficult to operate and to read its labels. Turning on the TV does not start it in what you were watching when you turned it off. Initial setup should be carefully followed and some decisions need to be considered. This Korean company is well-known to gather information about your viewing habits, including what you watch and how long you watch it. Over time, Samsung is able obtain a lot of information about us and since the TV is connected to the Internet, it's easy for them to do that. Admittedly, I don't like the idea of a company mining for personal information. During the setup it's possible to drill down and turn off most of this and I'd advise you to do it. All in all, I'm borderline on taking it back, but the low price at Sam's, down from Samsung's original $599,make it worth keeping. Yeah...everything is more expensive. These comments are mine alone.
