I’m not real fond of child lock though the controls pad is simple to use. I believe it would hold and bake a turkey the capacity is amazing. Love the power it has.

Great capacity, power, even cooking surface...very good product. Will probably purchase same exact model again in future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model GE microwave is very nice. The buttons don't require too much pressure to push and they are arranged well. Can't go wrong with this model. Replacing old PEB2060SM2SS model and the existing trim ring fits fine. And yes I know this is a counter top model, but does work as built in as long as there are adequate ventilation holes in the cabinet.

After owning a GE microwave in the past, I knew that GE was the right brand for me. This microwave has wonderful easy to use programmed controls that are perfect for my everyday cooking. It was easy to unbox and setup on the counter, and I was using it immediately. The microwave blends in with all my kitchen appliances .Love the size as it is large enough inside to handle all my cooking needs. Definitely would buy again.

Purchased this GE microwave on 16th to replace our 11 year old GE microwave that quit working on the 16th (older version of the new one]. The new one has the child safety lock, We are retired and decided to follow the instructions to fix the safety lock so it would be easier for us to open. Well, it seems I broke it and the small plastic part and spring fell out. We have it taped in but it’s not ideal because the tape doesn’t hold very well. I was wondering what are our options for this problem? It seems to after seeing other purchaser’s on the internet has had the same issues. Doesn’t GE have Engineers that could come up with a fix for this issue? Thanks for letting us rant. Waiting patiently for some type of resolution. We are not looking forward for putting up with this issue for 11more years.

The only reason we bought the exact same model again is because we like the controls and the microwave fits perfectly in the space where we have it. We're giving it another chance.

I ended up with this one because inverter microwaves usually recieve mixed reviews, with some premature failures, which was my experience with my panasonic that I had. I will say, they shouldn't have the mechanical child safety lock activated from the factory. I thought something was wrong eith the door u til I read the user manual. This is the first time I had to read a manual to figure out how to open the door. Good thing is, it's super simple to disable! It has great power, it's a decent size, performs well so far, and is pretty neat overall! So far I recommend to someone looking g a microwave of this size and wattage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out with a GE profile microwave which lasted for approximately 10+ years. Since I have a wall oven, this microwave is the only one which can fit into my existing trim kit! Unfortunately, the Trim kit is more expensive than the microwave, so not economical to replace it! This model only seems to last between 3-4 years , tops! It does do the job while it works.
