[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave looks good even though we could not get the same color to match the rest of our GE appliances. The door and door latch button seem to be noticeably lighter weight than our previous unit. The latch button feels cheap. The controls appear to be similar quality to our last unit. Having the same rating, the power is comparable to our previous GE unit. The turntable has a different drive compared to our last one (the drive gears wore out on our last one). This unit is quieter than the previous one. The last one was quiet until the drive gears started to wear out. This microwave is the same capacity as our previous model and is sufficient to handle everything we will ever use it for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely this microwave. It meets all of my standards which are pretty demanding. The power is nothing short of amazing! I love the large interior. And, the biggest unexpected bonus is the child lock. I have an austic grandson who loves to mess with everything and is so smart to troubleshoot problems he encounters. This one has him stumped.

Nice sized unit. This replaced a smaller, older unit.

Very loud to close! The button feels flimsy to open the microwave.

Very poorly designed control panel. Far too complicated compared to other microwaves I've owned. In any event it's a very poor product.

This is the second time I am buying a GE Microwave 2 cu ft 1200 watt. It is a workhorse and easy to operate, also at a great price!

Everything is great! My wife and I are in our 70s and have known about how GE make all kinds of great products for years.

We have a family of 5 and the dishwasher is more than adequate for our needs. In addition, the dishes, all come out, clean and perfectly dry.
