[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new microwave. I love the Sleek design and the capacity is huge!. the different heating controls will come in very handy when cooking different items. The child lock will be nice to prevent unauthorized people using my new microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got it and think it will be great for one reason. This is the same unit , but newer and a new model number. The old one we bought in 2012! We used it a lot and never had issues until it died finally. Ill be happy if this gives me a other 13 years.

I love the quality of a GE microwave. In 47 years I have only owned 3 all GE. They really last. I do miss some of the features my previous one has though, such as multiple auto select options. All in all, I expect to get a good 10 years service out of this one. It is a great size, actually seems extra large inside and very powerful at 1200 watts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed it as a built-in unit. It fit perfectly into my cabinet and onto my existing trim kit. Seems to work fine and has all of the features I will ever use. The child lock on the door is a feature I disabled, but is a good idea if little ones are around. When I bought this unit, two units in the store were damaged as people in the store were unaware of the door child lock feature and assumed the door lock was defective and eventually broke the door by trying to force the door lock open. When I got my new unit home, I easily disabled teh child lock and everything works fine

just unpacked it and put it together - it feels a bit flimsey compared to my old Sharp microwave which was quite sturdy. The turntable base is very thin and unstable. The door is very light. When it is closed it wobbles and does not feel like it has completely engaged the door locks. I may have made an expensive mistake purchasing this piece of equipment instead of another Sharp.

Right now we have an expensive clock. A repairs out to check the microwave oven which was doing everything but heat the food. Of course it worked for him, but the minute he left, well, it would not work. We received a message on our landline that we would be getting an email in regards to rectifying this problem. However, no such email has arrived. Please advise. We bought this GE product based on a GE microwave we had for 34 years. This one made it just beyond 34 days.

Purchased this GE microwave on 16th to replace our 11 year old GE microwave that quit working on the 16th (older version of the new one]. The new one has the child safety lock, We are retired and decided to follow the instructions to fix the safety lock so it would be easier for us to open. Well, it seems I broke it and the small plastic part and spring fell out. We have it taped in but it’s not ideal because the tape doesn’t hold very well. I was wondering what are our options for this problem? It seems to after seeing other purchaser’s on the internet has had the same issues. Doesn’t GE have Engineers that could come up with a fix for this issue? Thanks for letting us rant. Waiting patiently for some type of resolution. We are not looking forward for putting up with this issue for 11more years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Large, lots of room inside. Outside leaves a lot to be desired. It gets very dirty with fingerprints very easily and the plastic cover over the control panel is already starting to peel and crack after just a few months of use. Not impressed.

The first lasted 14 years before calling it quits, and I can depend on my new appliance to serve us dependably for many years to come. If, heaven forbids, we have a problem, the GE service center is pleasant and reliable to work with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's almost impossible to find a white microwave over 1.0 cu.ft. I found this one and it works great. Easy to read buttons, simple controls, and large cooking space. Also quieter than my old microwave. I bought a Toshiba Microwave (black controls) and took it back because my wife had to use a flashlight read the panel, also had an energy saver that could not be disabled, so the clock shut off after 2 minutes and would not come back on till you hit a button or opened the door. Why buy a microwave that you can't see the clock? Thanks GE.......
