The time cook control has to be pushed before choosing how many seconds you want. And then push start. This is relatively common on most newer machines but I would pay extra to be able to choose time duration and then just push start. Also I'm not in love with the control board arrangement. Doesn't flow well for our way of thinking

My husband & I have been using our new microwave oven at least twice a day ~ usually more ~ and are feeling comfortable with it. I'm almost ready to try cooking a whole meal. We bought a GE microwave oven ~ our first ~ 42 years ago. It got a lot of use ~ and was still working perfectly, with only the bulb needing replacement. I was reluctant to let it go ~ it served us so well. But we decided to get a new one anyway, for updated features. And we are enjoying the handy features our old one didn't have. Feels cheaply made, sounds cheap when opening and closing door. Doesn’t show any display when using “reheat” program. In the manual it says it should give you a choice of “power level”. Nope! When starting up it make a lot of noise. I’ve owned it 1 month.

We always buy GE appliances whenever possible. Our old GE microwave finally quit, I can't remember when we bought it it was so long ago. It had lived a very serviceable life of daily use for years and years, over 15 years. Naturally it's replacement is another GE.

Love the product ,this is the second identical one I had before. The only difference is the child proof lock was added,which I don't like it's so hard for an elderly person to push the button at the same time.I wish there was a way to override it. That's the only complaint I have!

This is a replacement for my 2008 microwave that finally gave up the ghost. I loved the old one, and this one I like even better. I don't have children so I disabled the childproof lock (a big plus there!). This is more powerful. I like the different settings and the even cooking. Aesthetically, the nuke is attractive and fits in nicely with my other stainless steel appliances. I highly recommend this microwave.

When something sits in there after being cooked it beeps every minute and I don't like that because I already know it's in there it doesn't have to remind me. When I put something in there when I'm cooking I don't start it right away and then when I go to start it it says nothing is in there. To me that's game changer. It should be only one star.

This is the second GE microwave we have places in our home. The first unit stopped working after about 4 years. Not what I expected from GE. The only reason I am replacing with same unit is because we had it installed with the in cabinet trim kit. Didn’t want to be purchase a new trim kit as well. Hoping that this unit has some longevity.

We love this microwave! All of the settings are accurate, for example, potato and popcorn settings! It’s easy enough that are too kids can use it. We loved it so much. We bought the exact same model when the other ones stopped working after about five years. I also find it very easy to clean and wipe down.

We installed the first version of this microwave almost 20 years ago. Always efficient and reliable except for lightening strikes and power surges in a 230 year old home. On our third one because of those events. Cost effective and efficient and we have the original wall mounting hardware so no adjustments to how and where it resides in the kitchen.
