Bought this microwave because it fits where the old one fit (same exact model, keypad failed after 2years) and I could reuse the same trim. Wouldn’t buy again except it was less work and cost than to switch to another brand. It works fine and I hope we get more than 2 years out of this one.

We purchased a new GE Microwave because we are previous owners. The reason for the 3 stars is f the foot on the L/H front was pushed all the way into the bottom of the unit, had to add some felt pads to make it level. The other issue is the Dull thumping when we turn it on. Read the manual (Troubleshooting) but at time the thumping gets "quite" annoying and sometimes is rather loud! The earlier models never had that issue. Other than that, it works fine.

This is a replacement for my 2008 microwave that finally gave up the ghost. I loved the old one, and this one I like even better. I don't have children so I disabled the childproof lock (a big plus there!). This is more powerful. I like the different settings and the even cooking. Aesthetically, the nuke is attractive and fits in nicely with my other stainless steel appliances. I highly recommend this microwave.

Love this mic! This is the 2nd one I've purchased. The last one lasted me about 6yrs. I'm not sure if the 1st one was a 1.0. The capacity is big enough to put a whole chicken. It's easy to use. I love the sensor cooking, I use this daily. Will definitely buy again.

Feels cheaply made, sounds cheap when opening and closing door. Doesn’t show any display when using “reheat” program. In the manual it says it should give you a choice of “power level”. Nope! When starting up it make a lot of noise. I’ve owned it 1 month.

Just bought this 2.0 cu.ft. 1200 watt microwave to replace the same exact GE model that my wife and I received as a gift over 6 years ago and which recently stopped working after providing constant service in our busy kitchen. I didn't have to think hard about which brand to buy because I've learned over the years and through internet research that GE products are typically ranked among the top 2 or 3 most reliable consumer appliances nowadays. That, plus a desire to stick with a proven design loaded with features that we're so familiar with made selecting the same model again a no-brainer. I highly recommend this microwave for its reliability, rugged design, and its versatility. Nice looking too, and still affordable.

We purchased the previous version of this model GE microwave in December 2021. Now, in July 2024, it no longer works; does not heat up food. Motor runs, turntable turns, but does not heat food. So if you're hoping for the microwave to last less than three years, this is the one for you! This will be the last GE appliance we purchase.

This is my favorite microwave oven of all time. The power and controls are specific and easy to use. It is attractive in appearance. I love the ability to put large casseroles in it with room to spare. It out performs any microwave I've ever owned.

They changed the bottom of the microwave from the design of the previous one. I am replacing it because they don’t make the touch pad any more. The design change is to make you buy the new cabinet surround that everyone complains is cheap trash that breaks about once a year. So you can buy another. About an hour spent making my old one fit

We've had our current GE microwave for 20 years now and it's still in our kitchen going strong! But to be honest, It's seen some wear and it's time to get a new one to go in our new house. Our GE microwave has been very reliable in performance and power and that's why we are getting a new one.
