Firm sourdough with a good sourdough flavor. Great for Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Morning Toast. Holds together well and better for your digestive system.

This was a replacement for great value sourdough bread. Twice the price, dried out and just overall not much good. Will never replace with this again 😔

This is my favorite sourdough bread. It has substance and flavor but isn't mushy like most store bought bread. It makes terrific sandwiches and toast.

Not the bread for me a bit like cotton wool. I thought it would have a better texture since it says it's sourdough. The artisan sourdough has a much better texture, but it's not good value for money.

This is overpriced because of the name. If you ever wanted to Google it you'll say that it is one of the products that rely on its old-fashioned name and has tons of additives. It does not in any way shape or form resemble sourdough bread. It might have some sourdough starter in it but that is it. I will not be buying this again

I like that it comes double wrapped with a seal inside. There's a decent amount of preservatives so the bread doesn't go bad as quickly as regular sourdough breads do, however the downside is that it has less sourdough flavor and texture, it feels basically like eating regular white bread.

Pepperidge Farms is such a great manufacturer! Love lots of their products ! This sour dough bread is at the top of my list! And if you haven't tried Pepperidge Farms cookies— you're missing a special treat! I can't get enough of the OJAI LEMON COOKIES! Wow!!!🤩

no actual sourdough texture, tasted stale. may have been in storage too long. regular white or wheat bread is a better value

This bread doesn't taste like sourdough and it doesn't have any chew to it. That said, it toasts well and tastes pretty good for white sandwich bread.

I don't eat bread like I used to, but when I need some dry toast or some with butter and jelly, this is my favorite. Delicious with some Grass-fed Ghee as well. Enjoy making a fabullous Grilled Chesse or a Monte Christo. Yum!
