Great generator enough for my entire house!

I bought this generator to have a second power in case of emergency which us really often around here and I'm really impressed with this generator. I can even use my spa if I carefully use the power. This is awesome!!

Westingtonhouse Generator

Easy setup. I bought this because I live in a rural area where the potential for extended power outages are possible. So far i'm really happy with the early use. Other reviews led me to this generator, and so far I'm not disappointed..

Simple startup

I just bought this generator and was surprised how easy it was to get up and running. Very simple startup instructions. I've already run it on both natural gas and propane.

Generator

We just bought this July 1st. We haven't had to use it yet but I hope it'll power up our whole house. The generator itself is very powerful so it should power up the house

WGen12000DF

Ran it 5 hours powering my house to break it in. Ran it on gas but mostly ran it on propane. Ran great on both. Hope to never have to use it but I'm ready.

Very easy to operate.

I own a smaller Westinghouse Generator that we are very satisfied with so when I seen they had a bigger one I couldn't wait till it came so we could start using it. They are very easy to operate and they run every thing we hook up to it.

Great features!

I needed something big for powering ac/heat just in case ! This unit arrived unmolested by transport. I am impressed by the completely clear and concise manual along with all the features on the generator. Followed the step by step instructions and the unit fired right up. Ran it for 20 min. to break in which I will repeat 3 or 4 times before serious use !

Great functionality and capability

Overall this is a great unit. I also own a Generac GP15000E. All things being equal, I think the Generac is better built and will most likely have a longer life. However, this unit has dual fuel capability, smart switch technology, remote start, and a battery charger. All are the reasons, I went with this unit, and I'm not disappointed.

Exceeded.my expectations.

I received the WGen12000GFc generator couple days ago. This generator was recommended by friends, and I did not know what to expect. Instantly I was impressed with the packaging, and very pleased by what seen once unpackage, very well built and user friendly. If you searching for backup power do not look past the WGen12000FDc.

Kept us cool during Beryl

Luckily I bought this a few weeks before Beryl and it kept our 2,400sqft house up and running for the 6 days we were without power. I had installed a soft start on the AC, so it ran it all perfectly. I will note that the generator came with a 3/4" nat gas hose an not the 1/2" indicated online, it has a 3/4" female QD on one end (gen side) and male on the other. You will need a 3/4" QD set up to connect to your natural gas line. The part numbers for oil filter in the book are worthless, Westinghouse parts is out of stock and don't offer a cross. I use the WIX 57145XP, not sure on the air filter as I haven't figured that one out yet.
