Just purchased and haven't had to use it yet. We live on the Gulf Coast and wanted to be prepared. We had several professionals (plumbers and electricians) recommend Westinghouse. Fingers crossed that we won't need it, but we are ready when we do!

We love the generator. we had a Generac prior to this and it failed. We hope this generator does much better for us. We are very excited to own this it is much more compact and easy to handle

Took a few tries to get the generator to start on NG, so I started it first on propane then switched back to NG. It ran like it should. It powered my house as estimated.

After 1 year of ownership, this generator is a workhorse and powered my house during outages multiple times. It has run perfect every time and maintenance is easy.

We just received our brand new Westinghouse WGen 14500DFc Generator. We are in the process of building a pad and shed for it. We are excited to get it installed and test it. No more worries of power outages ever again.

I purchased this a few months back and was going to get it prepped for use if a storm was forecast for my area, but that never happened, so I still need to set it up and break it in. Everything looks heavy-duty and well-built. The only downsides I see are that it doesn't come with the required connections for natural gas, although it has everything necessary for LPG and gasoline. It also doesn't have much information in the manual about running it on Natural gas, specifically missing what gas pressure is required or range allowed, and whether a separate regulator is needed, such as the one supplied with the hose for LPG use, but for natural gas.

Generator works great. Powers the whole house, including AC, while running on natural gas. Only issue I had was connecting it to my 3/4” gas line. Apparently this now comes with a 5/8” outer diameter threaded fitting, and I had to combine a few different adapters to connect it with my gas line. Also, the manual and the listings online don't give CFH or BTU requirements for running on natural gas, but fortunately I was able to find it in the reviews. This is information that should be in the item documents

Just took the unit out of the box and it won't start. Fully charged the battery with the trickle charger. Engine still won't turn over. Plus, it has no manual start option, so I'm dead in the water. Hope this storm doesn't cause the power to go out.

So far very happy with generator. Having remote start is very handy and the amount of power it provides will be perfect for power outages and running tools around the farm. Gave it 4 stars because I was a bit u happy with how much machine oil was on the unit and the foam handle pad was soaked in machine oil. Other than that it's exactly what I wanted
