Great features, easy start, low maintenance

Easier to move than it looks, works great even just hooking up to your grill's propane tank in a pinch! So powerful and not very loud at all…even when generating a lot of power!

Awesome piece of equipment

I have yet to use the generator, however it appears to be a well built machine. Not that I'm looking forward to a hurricane, but I am certainly happy that I have this..

Good backup generator

I like the 50-amp outlets and multiple-port outlets. I like the propane and gasoline, but don't care for the natural gas option since I do not need it.

Fuel options

I only bought this a week ago. Setting it up now. Will have to review again after it performs. Best thing is the tri-fuel option for when things are limited after a hurricane.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

Bought this about 1 month ago for a portable whole house generator. What a machine. It powers two AC systems (5 ton and 3.5 ton), dryer, refrigerator, all lights, all plugs, oven, microwave at the same time and didn't break a sweat!!! Good instructions on assembly, use, maintenance and great labeling of all important parts and switches. Comes with an oil funnel (thank you very much) and spark plug wrench. Works as well as the Generac we previously installed and it comes with us when we move!

Effortless power and versatile

So far I am impressed with this Westinghouse generator. I am only at the unboxing/setup/testing phase but happy thus far. The set up was simple - no complicated instructions or frustrating assembly. The flexibility of the Tri-fuel options will be convenient and cost-effective. The push-button and remote start feature takes the hassle out of powering up. I was able to effortlessly start/stop from the unit and by using the remote from a distance. Although I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet for a power outage, this unit will be a game changer. The only other thing that I can mention is that although somewhat expected, this unit is quite loud.

Big Power for the money

Purpose of Purchase: Bought this generator to power my food truck during service and as a backup power source for my home during outages. Upgrade Justification: I upgraded from an 8kW generator, which required refueling during long events (e.g., 12-hour shifts). Refueling meant pausing service—even with a line of customers—just to add gas. That's no longer an issue. Performance: This generator ran for a full 12-hour period on a single tank of gas without needing a refill. That's a huge plus and a game changer for continuous service. 🔑 Key Notes & Considerations: CO2 Sensor Issue: The generator shut off three times while running in an open field. The lights indicated a CO2 sensor error. I solved this by placing a fan near it to keep air circulating—worked like a charm. Unsure why it triggered in open air, but something to watch for. Battery Management: After my first test run, I forgot to turn off the battery switch. Several hours later, I noticed a light still on. Unfortunately, the battery drained completely and now won't recharge. Major downside: If the battery dies, there's no manual recoil option to start the generator. Jumper cables from your car or a power pack will resolve this issue. ✅ Pros: Long runtime (12+ hours) on a single tank Powerful enough for food truck and emergency home use Smooth, quiet operation Moderate noise ❌ Cons: Sensitive CO2 sensor (may require extra airflow) No backup manual start option Battery can die easily if left on and won't recharge

A Beast of a Generator!

Power outages are common where I live, so I bought this generator to power the whole house when needed. This thing does not disappoint as it powers everything in the house (3 ton ac, 55 gal water heater, well pump, clothes dryer...everything) with ease and even has power to spare. The tri-fuel feature is great too, as it gives you options for fuel sources. Starts up quickly and is quieter than some smaller generators. I no longer dread power outages!

Well built, stout generator

I bought this generator for backup power for my home. I live in a hurricane zone and standby generators were way too expensive. This will run my entire house, including the 4 ton A/C. It is very heavy and was quite difficult to get off the pallet. I have to use a engine hoist. Designing the pallet for removal would enhance this greatly.
