Generator is strong and works for the application that we use it for. Handles a surge well. Only problem that I have encountered is the oil sensor has some issues. I check the oil everyday that the machine is used and unplugged the oil sensor and have had "0" issues.

I bought this to power my house when the electricity goes out. The assembly was straight forward. It's very heavy so you have to use a hoist or someone to help lift it off of the pallet. I bought this to run on propane. My only gripe is the switch to select gasoline or propane is poorly illustrated.

We have three kids under 7 in Southeast Texas. Ever since the big freeze in 2021 we have had many extended outages from events like storms, derechoes, and hurricanes. We got by with a small generator but after soft start issues and multiple days over 100 degrees, we needed to upgrade to a more powerful generator and could not spend alot or justify a permanent backup generator. This 20kW SHOULD do what we need it to--power the big A/Cs and a majority of the house. We'll see as now I am waiting on an electrician to upgrade the receptacle from 30 amp to 50 amp. One thing to note is that this was delivered and left on a pallet. Getting the wheels on was not as bad as I thought but getting it off the pallet was a challenge. I do not own any pulley or lifting systems, so that kinda sucked. I am hoping this bad boy can handle keeping us functional. We just got back up and running after Hurricane Beryl--5 days no power. This Westinghouse 20kW was delivered AFTER we got power back...3 starts for not communicating how it would be delivered, missing washers for the wheels, and not having a chance for a trial. (Leaving this review gets me a Westinghouse 15ft powerstrip)

I picked this up yesterday and started breaking it in today. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of this generator. It was incredibly easy to get setup, instructions were easy to understand. It started up first try and run very smoothly. The smart idle is a great feature! Though the instructions don't state as much, I am doing a break-in period of running it for an hour with no load, changing oil, running it again for an hour, changing oil, and then running it again with a load. I don't see a reason it wouldn't be able to handle any household load I throw at it. Will follow-up after all of this is done. Despite the weight of the machine it is incredibly easy to move around. Not only that, it even looks great. If I had any complaints it would be changing the oil. It appears to be virtually impossible to do so without an absolute mess. Otherwise, I am ecstatic about my purchase. I got a 10ft 6 gauge cord to plug directly to the 50 amp outlet. I have a feeling the setup will work very well!

Just received my new generator and it is packed with features, it was bought as a backup to the house for when we loose power for a extended period of time I do not look forward to what ever causes us to need it but I'm glad we have it and the dual fuel makes operating options even better.

I bought this generator last week and unboxed it. Very well crated with great care. The generator is great. I can't wait to fill it with oil and start it up. The only negative is the oil dipstick was very hard to pull out and also very hard to push back in. The assembly instructions says to unscrew it but it isn't threaded. I will add to this review once it is in service.

I bought this to power my 2,200 sq ft home. My home is totally electric and it powers everything in my home. It also powers my central a/c unit which is an a/c, heat pump combination. I tested this generator by turning on every single light, in my home and I also started my washer and dryer along with my electric stove including the oven, and even my microwave, and air fryer. I went to extreme by running EVERYTHING in my home at the same time which will likely never happen in daily living. I wanted to be certain this generator would handle the load in a power outage and it surpassed my expectations. Great generator.

I haven't had to use the generator for a power outage yet but have ran it to break it in. Very powerful ran a compressor didn't phase it at all. Assembly was very easy putting wheels on and the arms. Then putting in the oil and it fired right up. I upgraded my generator from a 4400 /9000 surge big difference for sure. Have put it off for far to long.

Passed all tests and ready to install. I like the "smart" feature of dropping to idle with the electrical load comes off. I also like the oil cooler and oil filter location. Solid and well thought-out design. So features and construction rate 5 stars. If it lasts as long as the 5kw it replaces (20 years), I'd give it 10 stars.

I just received the WGen9500DF generator and was happy with the instructions, set up and that it started and ran right away. I used propane and still need to try gas but I am happy so far. The one thing I didn't like was that the handle grip was damaged. However I will talk to the warranty department, I am sure they will satisfy the issue. I will update this review if I have any issues but so far I am happy.
