My friend referred me to this brand of generator because it powered his home last year during a week long outage. I bought this generator to run the essential circuits in the house and I am very pleased. I haven't placed my central air units on the generator, but everything else is good. Definitely buy this generator.

My husband and I looked for over a month to find the perfect generator out there. After much searching and researching, we came to the decision to by a Westinghouse generator and we are so happy we did! Even our electrician was impressed! I bought this ahead of Florida hurricane season 2023. We put together and attempted to start it hours before a hurricane was due....and we couldn't get it to start. We were lucky that we did not lose power. It turned out that the generator I bought had a bad battery. We were able to charge the battery and the generator started up.

I would like to update my initial negative review but couldn't locate it. Initially purchased a WGEN12000C in July of 2024 quit on met just 2 months later. Took it to one of their service centers in mid September of 2024 and after about 5 months and several replace parts Westinghouse finally agreed to just replace the generator. My original generator was no longer made so they sent me the WGEN14500C instead. I've had the new replacement generator for about 3 days now, so am going through the break in period and running on very light loads and so far so good. Fingers crossed, this generator will serve me well for many years to come as did my original generator that I had for over 5 years (WGEN9500DF). Getting a replacement was a very length process but I'm not sure if I could put all the blame on Westinghouse as I'm sure the repair shop has many other generators to work on as well.

Generator arrived in good condition. Put gas and oil in it and it started right up. Just got my power cord hooked up to transfer switch and tried it out. It handled 3 deep freezers and 2 refrigerators, a deep well pump and lights in my house and shop just fine. Can't wait to get propane line ran from my big tank to see how it does. Seems like a good product.

Purchased on 15 Jan and received it yesterday. Unpacking and setup was very easy. 400 pound monster, but well balanced. Put the wheels on and got it off the pallet myself. No problems. Followed start up instructions and she cranked right up. I'm very pleased with this generator.

This is a beast. Weighs over 500#. You're not going to casually pick it up & move it around. I bought it to run a welder through, & I'm going to have to find a plug-type converter. The welder is a 3 prong plug & the 50 amp receptacle is a 4 prong female. Seems solid and reliable, but haven't used it much yet. I have the WGen 9500 little brother & it has been great, have used it a lot.

Has all of the right features, idle control, all variations of electric output, remote start, oil drain line to reduce mess during oil change, dual fuel and best of all, 5% or less THD. Appears to be well made and will serve its purpose for years to come. Everything included to run right out of the box. Easy setup. Started on propane first try and runs good. Delivered literally weeks ahead of scheduled delivery date! Five stars given based on comments provided. Reliability yet to be proven, but anticipate no issues based on first impression.

I bought this product less than a month ago and it was delivered promptly. Also, the packaging was really great. In order to avoid damage. Registering my product was very easy assembling. My product was very easy. Contacting customer service just to ask questions was very easy and I appreciate i the patience and kindness I was shown.

I bought this Generator for a back up to supply power to my Solar Panel array in the Winter Months. Main reason is dual fuel. I like the flexibility. However, the 2 110v receptacles have GFCI curcuits and they do not work properly. Always shutting off. Need to get them replaced with normal duplex outlets.
