We received red this generator about a week ago The assembly was straight forward with no difficulties. The unit fired right up on a 20lb propane tank. Only tested a drop light so far to confirm there is an output. The generator is loud but not near what I was expecting. We are getting larger tanks installed and will complete the break in at that time.

I purchased this unit to use as a whole house backup generator, and it works perfectly. My house is all electric, except for my heater (Propane), and it powers the entire house including the water heater and the central HAVAC system with no issues. It is easy to move and store, even though it is large and heavy, as the wheels and handles are well placed to balance out the load for easy movement. I bought it primarily for the low THD ratings, and it seems to stay on frequency very well, and runs perfectly on propane or gas. It is a very nice unit.

Has all of the right features, idle control, all variations of electric output, remote start, oil drain line to reduce mess during oil change, dual fuel and best of all, 5% or less THD. Appears to be well made and will serve its purpose for years to come. Everything included to run right out of the box. Easy setup. Started on propane first try and runs good. Delivered literally weeks ahead of scheduled delivery date! Five stars given based on comments provided. Reliability yet to be proven, but anticipate no issues based on first impression.

Just recently purchased the 12500w/9500w tri fuel generator, I haven't put it to work as of yet but will be shortly. After putting it together I tried to sync the key fob but was unable to get it to link up to the unit otherwise I may have given 5 stars. Will update after some use.

I bought this after the recent Hurricanes this year, and after debating a Generac- this will power my entire house for a fraction of the cost. I had an electrician install an inlet box and interlock switch and I'm good to go. Even with that being professionally done, I'm all in for 1/3 the cost of a generac.

Here is the Wgen 9500 next to my Wgen 12000. Started right up. I bought the 9500 from Amazon and it was not on a pallet and was beat up where the shipper rammed a forklift through the box. The 12000 bought from Lowes was on a pallet and in pristine condition. No more dark nights for me.

I was looking to buy A portable heavy duty gen. that could power almost the whole house with dual fuel. After comparing others gen. and reading the specification, the Westinghouse stood out .This is a well built gen. I think this going to be my last gen. I will own.

I use this generator daily on the farm. It works great. I like the low idle feature to conserve fuel. However, one of the 30a receptacles has gone out after 9 months, and on low idle it tends to burn out capacitors on compressors when using the low idle mode.

I just received this generator. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. It looks well built. Nice control panel. Does have slight rub marks from packaging on black metal frame. Could be protected a little better. However, no real damage found. I hope to start it up soon and see how it performs.maybe a 5 star product.we shall see.

This is my first generator and so far I am impressed. Once the electrician completed the work in my home electrical panels to use the generator as a backup power source, we tried it out. It started up immediately after connecting it to a propane tank and powered our home. No issues. I'm pleased with my purchase and with the price.
