I've used Dawn for years. This batch seems weaker suds less. Seems weaker and the color is lighter.

Something has changed with this product. First, they no longer include the pump and second, the detergent is now watered down. It was previously very thick not its like water.

Not As Shown online. Was supposed to have a pump. I’m not well and difficult to lift. Arrived without pump. Would have bought the lemon scent prefer if knew no pump! Can lift. Called customer service and person read a script that made no sense. Did not resolve problem. Wasted 45 minutes on phone with Sams customer service.

I mainly bought this for the pump, hoping that it would be interchangeable for use with other product jugs later. It is!! That is great! This pump must be pulled upward to fill and then pressed downward to dispense soap. This is because it is a suction-style pump, much like a syringe, and contains no spring. I guess the benefit of such a thing is that there are no parts to break or go out. It seems like the pump should work for a good while after the jug is emptied, which makes me happy. Of course the soap inside cleans well, it's Dawn. Overall a good buy for me, and the disappointment I felt due to the lack of a spring within the pump mechanism subsided quickly.

My opinion - Dawn is the best and this is the way to buy it. I have the pump that comes with the Dawn in this size bottle in the club so we keep this under the sink and fill and use a small bottle on the counter top here in the apartment. In our other (main) home, we have one of those through the counter top pump and bottle things and use that in the same manner when we’re there. I personally like the small bottle method - wife likes her counter top pump - I digress :-) I think one thing I most like about buying the bigger commercial size bottle (besides the price advantage) is that I don’t have to buy dish soap every fifteen minutes and we’re never out. Also, if there’s a little left in the bottle in the house when I put the new one where it goes, I take the older one to the shop/garage and fill it with water - sometimes a few times - and use the pump from a prior purchase to pump out soapy water for hand washing or bbq grill cleaning or what ever. It’s not like I think I’m the only guy that can think of this stuff but it is what works for me and why I buy “the big Dawn”. Besides, you never know when there’s going to be a petroleum spill disaster and I have to give a poor little duck baby a bath or save an unfortunate Brown Pelican or an otter! Can’t be too prepared for the contingencies! Aahahaha...

I had to wash my dishes twice some 3 times, I thought I bought a different brand by mistake, but nope, the galon says Dawn. They have a new formula, it is no longer poten. You will need a lot more soap than before.That will be my last time purchasing it.
